Worth it's price, but do not expect anything outstanding. An okay spicy fragrance with a good pimento note and some benzoin. Sillage and lasting power are good (around 6 hours).

Actually prefer this to Cool Water, which is not to say I was a fan in the first place. This is one I wanna hate, but can't. I expected synthetic garbage, but find it too be fairly natural and smooth. It's almost as if I have applied Xeryus Rouge lotion to my skin (not sure if such a product exists, but that's what Hot Water smells like to me). It's basically sweet, red cherry in a warm bathwater base. Pretty light and creamy. The cherry and cedarwoodsy drydown is nice and reminiscent of Armani Night, without the richness and complexity. If you can't afford Cereus No 14, this is an okay alternative.

An absolute synthetic mess of a fragrance. Smells cheap and stays that way throughout the life of the fragrance. Toxic water would have been a better name for it.

Guys won't like this fragrance much, well at least I don't nor does my other friend who also has a bottle, but the key factor is girls do! Girls think Hot Water is sexy and while I think its the worst frag in my wardrobe it gets a lot of compliments! I own both this and 1 Million and if I'm honest I think this is the oriental 1 Million, I guess it never took off... Overall this IS worth A TRY!

Not bad, not bad at all. Although Cool Water still reigns supreme in my eyes, Hot Water is a nice follow-up. I get spicy, but not a strong, bold spiciness. I'd say it's a subtle hint of spice more than anything else. Warm and inviting are two words that suit this fragrance well. Honestly I don't think this fragrance will send many women into a spin however it will certainly smell seductive on a man. The lasting strength is not great, which is a pity. I must say that I was hoping for more depth to this fragrance. I wanted wild and sexy rather than romantic. Even so, I do still enjoy this fragrance and have no doubt in my mind that it will sell well, partly because of Cool Water's affiliation with it.

I've got it as a present. And I expected something brand new, something exciting after CW.. And when I first tried, it's a big suprise,'cause it was very-very familiar..Hot Water smells on me exactly like Joop! Homme (the original purple from the '90s).. I know, the notes are different but the final effect is the same (on my skin). Has anybody else noticed this similarity?..So,it's a good fragrance but nothing new, Joop! has been done it in 1989 already.

Another fresh, spicy oriental, disappointing and mainstream. The structure is usual and common, a fresh herbaceous aromatic, spicy opening (basil, absynth, pimento and patchouli) and a resinous oriental woody base (styrax, benzoin). The fragrance itself reminds to me a dozen of other scents out there ( Armani Code, La nuit de l'homme, Hugo Boss In Motion etc ) and in my opinion is pale, undistinguished and boring. The starring role is played by styrax- benzoin tropical, flowery, creamy accord. I perceive a too much fruity taste, may be because of the fruity tropical smell of the styrax. Let's go on.

I do not hate this smell, it is just so common. I also imagine that it can be cloying it a hot and humid climate.

I do think that Hot Water can be a compliment-getter, though. I have tested my sample vial on two of the opposite sex, and they both loved it. In fact one of them called it "cuddly" and she could not stop smelling my neck.

To Davidoff's defense, I also must say that Hot Water smells warmer and cleaner the more it dries down. But I know of other stuff that does the job a lot better.

very good scent i have recieved tons of compliments wearing this and is easily in my top 10
it has great longevity i get 7-10 hours on this and this does project it will project about 7 feet in front of you with 2-3 sprays
but theres 1 thing i don`t find it hot i find it warm they should have called it warm water instead
and btw this scent is versatile it can be worn in all 4 seasons in the winter just do 3 sprays and your good and in the summer you can do 2-3

let the compliments flood you !!!
