Okay, right away this is not as sweet or sickly as Joop, nowhere near. It has similar notes, but a much more masculine scent overall. Lasts well and projects quite strongly for the first few hours, but then settles to a great 'skin' scent for the rest of the day/night. Give it a try and don't be put off by the Joop comparisons, I hate Joop and love this.

You got your bank for the buck cheap bargain and head to head to Original santal CREED and women seem to love the scent but as for me Im a lil bit skeptical I would wear it but wont be something that I would enjoy on a daily basis

Individuel is a great and very sweet fragrance. I find Joop Homme more chemical than this, but it doesnt mean this aint smells a bit synthetic. Monster sillage that fills a room easily and lasting power is about 10 hours. Worth it.

I like this one, but do not love it yet. That may change in the future - but to be honest, it's not that easy for me to wear...so it's going to have to fight for its right to be in the front half of the collection. A few things: I hate Joop, but like this Never tried Original Santal, but if it smells like Individuel, I will never have to Too sweet and cloying for work I'm married and my wife thinks it's a bit fem on me All of that being said, it's one of those fragrances that I like, buty can't identify what purpose it serves or when it should be worn. for that it gets a neutral - but as far as the scent itself, it's easy to find cheap and it lasts a while. Don't buy/not buy based on my review.

The rumors are true, it does smell like joop! The famos joop, in the clear bottle with the pink juice. Although this has a little less "scream" in it's voice. It is also far less cloying. I see some similarities with Creed Santal, but this lasts longer and is less expensive! OF the three, this gets my vote.

I've just tried to wear Joop on one wrist and individuel in the other. I do smell simular but Joop is more on the candy sweet side to where individuel is sweet but cleaner...almost soapy in a good way. Joop is a bit more powerful but Mont blanc isn't weak itself. If Joop is too sweet candy-ish try this one. More I wear this the more I'm becoming impressed with it. Update: as of for me, I've actually have pretty much neglected creeds original santal and know am using this more. I've sold my original santal and when I run out of induviduel I'm gonna get the bigger bottle. OS and Joop has more in common than do this one. This one has a cleaner (like lavender) to me and I do like this more. 27$ for a 2.5 ounce not bad at all.

It's virtually identical to Creed Original Santal at 1/4 the price. Comparisons to Joop! Homme of course, but this smells much better and more wearable. If you like cinnamon you'll love this and it's one of the better casual fragrances on the market.

So I ordered this online after seeing many reviews and upon arrival the first thing that impressed me was the bottle. Very elegant and unique; classy. Great fragrance! To me it smells somewhat fruity and sweet but yet, classy. Others tell me they smell some vanilla and even some smell mint combination. I love it and get plenty of compliments from it. Great projection and longetivity. Thumbs up!

Have it, love it. Very elegant. I got this as a gift from a friend and then had to go out and buy myself a bottle when the first one ran out. I am now on my third. Made a mistake of leaving the third bottle at a girlfriend's house. When I returned a couple of weeks later to pick it up, it was half empty: She had been dousing her pillows with Mont Blanc Individuel every night to remind herself of me. I don't find it generic at all. It is easily recognizable, to my nose at least. Sillage is out of this world: Just right out fantastic. They smell you coming, and in a good way. Longetivity appears to be less outstanding. On me it lasts around 4 to 5 hours.
