I've tried to like this fragrance so much and for so long, but to no avail, it is horrible, the cucumber/mint accord reminds me of the smells of a farmers market or a bowl of salad. Disgusting!!!!!

Sometimes, before I head out the door, I just want to spray some cologne on without thinking about it too much or worrying about making some kind of statement. At the same time, I want to smell pleasant and appealing. Izod's great for that. It opens a little harsh but quickly settles into a nice cucumber/mint/lime accord that has a watery, aquatic quality to it. It's very fresh and is highlighted by some light florals and a little lavender. This persists for a couple of hours and as it dries down, some tobacco emerges. Is Izod synthetic? Yes. But it smells good and has a nice sillage. It also has some interesting notes in it (like tobacco, saffron, and cyclamen) that your average fresh/aquatics do not. I've tested many aquatic and fresh fragrances and this is better than most. I'd easily put it ahead of more expensive ones like Light Blue, CK One, and Versace Eau Fraiche. Longevity is not great, but given its cheap price, you can spray on as much as you want and as often as you'd like without worrying about your bottle getting low. So go crazy! Izod's a fun scent to own and one I plan on getting plenty use out of.

This smells very similar to Versace Man Eau Fraiche but at less than half the price. Longevity and projection are good. The bottle looks cool but as mentioned before if you don't remove the cap carefully the sprayer head will come off. I recommend it if you're looking for something cheap and fresh.

The first time I tried this in person, I could have sworn that it was better and more interesting. This time, as the initial alcohol goes away, I'm getting a sharp but not terribly strong orange. This component is fine, but along with it comes a super-sweet tropical fruit note (papaya with possible cherry?) which again isn't that strong but is so assertively cloying that it really stands out unpleasantly. On top of that, a terrible chemical note rears its head, like the hair salon / nail polish theme of Lanvin Vetyver or Insense Ultramarine. As it dries down, the orange is completely lost and mostly only cherry and hair-spray remains. What a disappointing offering. Not quite a thumbs-down because the base is nicer from farther away.

Had some technical difficulties with the cap because when you take the cap off the sprayer flies off. Cheaply made bottle. The juice itself it actually pretty nice. It's dirt cheap and I can imagine with the complaints people had about the cap that's why. Glad I bought it.

A fresh, clean burst of niceness! That's what I get from Izod. Izod is a safe bet for any casual occassion. Initial projection is wonderful but longevity is a bit of an issue. As others have written-leave the cap off or you'll be chasing the spray top around the room as I and others have learned. Still a great-looking bottle. I can't find anyone objecting to this wonderful fragrance. In a nutshell-smells like a freshly washed shirt after being starched with Niagra spray starch. I love it!

Of all the fresh wanna be fragrances out there this one actually does its job and has nothing to object to while covering you with a clean freshness. I think of this as a fresh scent rather than aquatic. It occupies the same category of fragrances where you find Escentric Molecules, Wicken 3000, Antimatiere, CdG Soda, Outrageious and Colonia Intensa. This is a very practical scent to have around when the weather gets hot.

The opening is sparkling citrus plus a hint of mint with cucumber and this quickly layers over an ultra light and dry synthetic cotton scent. Thats about it in the scented notes cateogry as far as I can tell. Whatever the basenote is, it is very lightly done (very dry tobacco??) and does not overpower the original cucumber + mint + cotton freshness which stays for quite a while. So, when its HOT outside and you want something that gives you a burst of clean fresh coolness - IZOD is the one. You might have to refresh it after about 4 hours, but it is a pleasant experience. They also make body spray that smells the same and is easier to apply a needed heavier dose. I think IZOD smells way better than Woolite, Windex and almost all of the blue aquatic scents that litter the shelves at the mall and it works well to add freshness to the body in summer heat. Thumbs up!

Another fresh designer creation Pretty much like most of the rest of the fresh scents of the past decade or two. I find Izod rather neutral in the sense that its not the worst of its type nor is it among the best. The opening few minutes are too synthetic smelling, but the fresh notes soon become a bit more palatable than at first sniff. Izod then moves to one of those neutral, textured heart accords a bit floral, a bit coniferous, mixed with the compulsory lavender. This middle seems to be designed to be a non-offensive as possible, which means that it is also as non-interesting as possible pure texture, no form or personality. Im not sure that I get much of a drydown but what I do get seems some leftover coniferous and lavender notes from the middle that come across with a bit of resinousness probably from the incense note in the base. I dont get more than a whiff of a tobacco note and Im happy that I dont get the saffron thats supposed to be in the base. The sillage is not strong and the longevity is poor all things considered, this is a mediocre but not a terrible offering

hey guys, i just tried this today, and what can i say? This fragrance is nice. However, all I get is normal. Nothing in this fragrance jumps out at me, it is fresh, thats all. Too normal, there is a sweet, mellony fragrance to this and its enjoyable, but I like something that will jump out at a woman. As well, the longevity for this is utterly bad, i sprayed on my wrist and most fragrances last the whole day there, as opposed to my body, and after only 4 hours its gone, and who knows how long it will last on my body.I wouldnt mind owning this, but its be in a rotation, I couldnt wear this everyday.

a great fresh and clean citrus with a nice punch definately a chill scent to use and will get u compliments its got that aquatic feel while its a more contemporary and modern smell that fuses other elements so it is hard to categorize the scent family but its an aromatic citrus with a GREAT smell that will draw compliments
