Kohdo Wood Collection: Lotus Blossom & Water Lily by Jo Malone, 2008

I am hit with the top note of it. It reminds me the dry green tobaccos like note of Kenzo Parfum D'ete which I love but Lotus Blossom & Water Lily is more aquatic and fresh floral. I can not get distinguish the flowers in it nor the woods but I can tell you it is rich and it is really enchanting.

What a stunning release from Jo Malone! Such a beautiful, bright and linear floral scent! It stays true to its name and blossoms into a clean floral. Its sweet, but not sickening. Its fresh, but not suffocating. A great women's every day scent!

Pure, beautiful, clear floral. Utterly perfect for summertime. Fantastic layered with Dark Amber & Ginger Lily, but so very lovely on its own. Something about the mood of this one reminds me a bit of Chanel Gardenia...only I prefer Lotus Blossom & Water Lily! This is feminine, with a hint of mystery; the striking florals are almost juicy they're so rich. I've got a small bottle, and a large bottle...and I may hoard more because this is a limited edition...Hopefully this will be an annual springtime release.
