This scent continues to surprise me -- I'm surprised how much I like it. Is charming and playful, but with a serious side. Love this. It's so easy to dismiss sport flankers, and normally they deserve to be dismissed. Ridiculed, even. But not this one. It's more than a good effort; it's just plain good. Great, even. It's on the sweet side, but not cotton candy. Think tarte aux fruits. I think this is going to be my sotd for the next week. I bought this months ago and liked it when I first got it, but new it'd be better to study it on my skin once the days got warmer. It was worth the wait. A gem.

Great scent that lacks projection, sillage, and longevity... Lanvin Sport is a pleasant blended scent of citrus (lemon), spice (pepper), and musky notes. Very pleasant out of the bottle. The downside is that the fragrance is weak and does not last. Following 3 hours of wear, the fragrance is not even detectable on the skin with weak notes on clothing. That is too bad... That said... The bottle and packaging are first class - and too be honest - the bottle design is one of my favorites in my collection that now exceeds over 400 bottles (geez - I have some issues over here..!!). You have to spend your money on something, right? I have not received any compliments, but suppose they could be received early on while wearing the fragrance. Given the many notes in the fragrance, it does offer flexibility to be worn during any season or for any event. The price/value is very appealing - the going rate is around $20 for a large bottle - just take the bottle with you to reapply (often) as needed. My final tally for Lanvin L'Homme Sport is 3 stars out of 5. Nice scent and cool bottle - but the fragrance does not last. Make a difference is someone's life - encourage them to do something great...

This is my favorite fragrance from Lanvin. As many have already stated, it isn't really sporty. But I do enjoy its versatility. It's a good everyday fragrance that will not offend anyone. I find it light. The mildly sweet lemon fades slightly as the fragrance progresses; It looses its initial sharpness, but the lemon is always there. I find the lemon to be very enjoyable. I find the lemon's transition to the base notes of patchouli, moss and musk to be very nice. Earthy, but not dark...thanks to...of course, the lemon. It also has very good longevity (8-10 hours). It's one of my favorite lemon fragrances...Right up there with Oscar pH and Bvlgari Extreme pH...A big thumbs up.

mourn over this fragrance. You know why? Longevity issues. The scent alone is SUPERB. Think sitting on a beach watching the waves crash on the shore drinking a nice cold glass of lemonade with your blue jean shorts on and your white t-shirt resting over your shoulder. Top notes: Zesty lemon opening, middle notes: toned down a bit with a flavorful cream lavender smooth as silk, Base notes: Very faint but still there. Patchouli and musk. Longevity? 3- and a very lenient 5 hr mark Projection? pretty good for 30 Minutes and close to the skin through out. Now you see why I mourn.... Amazing Scent which I give a 10 but a 3 for poor longevity. If you see this, try it before you blind buy it. Everyone's skin is different but for me I had to pass...... Bobster in mourning.... :-(

Fantastic juice. Lovely aromatic citrus. The patchouli carries the scent beautifully. The drydown is one of the best citrus aromatics I've ever smelled. GORGEOUS!!

An abhorrent, warm, sweaty musk scent spiced with an incongruous pepper note that literally reeks like a post game athelete drenched in his own perspiration.

Very fresh opening and the dry down is fantastic. This would be perfect for an office scent and I feel this one doesn't get enough attention. You can pick this up on the cheap now and the quality is outstanding for the price. Quickly becoming one of my favorites.

Lanvin L'Homme Sport reminds me of citrus chypres such as Chester & Peck or even a bit like Cerutti 1881 - a sharp, tangy citrus with a mild herbal or spice kick. I can't say that I find this at all dark or complex but it is pleasant. The fresh/aquatic genre is my least favorite and this offering is among the better in the bunch. It'd be nice if more "sport" fragrances were this good. It isn't a groundbreaker by any definition but for those looking for a modern take on a classic masculine theme, it's worth a look.

I just bought this EDT and I must say that I'm really impressed. I've known about Jeanne Lanvin for a while but never got the change to actually smell one. Well I didn't pay much for this perfume (I bought it at a mad discount) and it's totally worth it! I might not be as experienced as some (or might I say "most") of the people on this web site, but to me this perfume smells like a mix between the top and middle notes of Terre d'Hermes (particularly with that peppery accent) and the middle and base notes of Azarro Pour homme (Which I like a lot, but I find is a bit to harsh for me [and for my girlfriend]). It is fresh but with a bite and it stayed active for quite a long time. One of the best buys I made for sure, and as you might realize by now, I highly recommend it! I just love it! I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do!
