I tried L'eau D'Issey years ago and didn't like it but with all the praise I continue to see I decided to try it again.  It's still a thumbs-down for me.  My nose detects no citrus in this at all, just a blast of slightly harsh florals.  The floral note of this reminds me of the smell of a fragrant oolong tea but there's also a component to this that smells like cotton/linen air freshners that is not good.

It's obvious what mr. Miyake went for with this one: A tart, aquatic floral with a personality. For me, it doesn't work. It's far too synthetic and light, wanting to fly off your skin in all directions. And the "personality" aspect of it comes across as sour and cloying. Nah.

I really wanted to like this one, and based on various posts and comments, it seems like this is a favorite of many people. Unfortunately, I just couldn't make a connection with this fragrance. The spicy dry down was nice and the longevity was pretty good, as my skin doesn't really hold fragrance well. It seems really safe and work friendly, but on me it smells like bug spray. It also has a dated feel. When I smell it, I am immediately transported to the early 1990s. This is something that I would have worn in high school when I wanted something "expensive and dressy" compared to Cool Water or Acqua di Gio. I appreciate the quality and understand why others like it. It's just really not for me.

What else can I add that hasn't already been said? This juice is absolutely fantastic. The citrus crisp freshness cannot be touched by anything else that I have tried. I was complimented within minutes of being in the office on the very first day that I wore it!

You can't go wrong with this fragrance. It's perfect in every way. The most original aqua fragrance and it lasts forever and ever and ever. I know it is wildly popular but I can't resist wearing this every summer. It just works!

I bought two samples. I initially liked this fragrance. It is very complex and very fresh and flora andl citric. My samples are now all used up and I decided I would not buy it. Its just too floral for my liking. The rapper Pimp C used to wear this.

Thats a wonderful citric floral for all seasons. It's classic and timeless. Not too sweet, not too citric. It's a very well balanced scent. Sillage, projection and lasting power are excellent! Definetely a MUST HAVE! Worth a bottle and a backup bottle! Thumbs up.
