I live in the tropics and this makes me think of standing in my back porch after an afternoon shower. The sunlight through the dark clouds making all the colours glow, water dripping off leaves and flowers and pooling on the grass. The fragrance of it all rises and, suddenly, nature teaches you the scent of green, grey and white. This is a very natural and delicate fragrance.

Solid fresh summer scent. Call me silly, but I wear this to the gym. Strong lemon/citrus opening. Hardly any sillage, but for this scent, it doesn't seem to take away from how great it smells.

I'm actually finding it difficult reviewing this fragrance because I haven't had much experience with aquatic scents in the past. From what I've tried of aquatic fragrances, I have disliked, but today I have concluded that L'eau par Kenzo may have just changed my mind. I'll start by saying that this fragrance is quite complex and unique. It has a somewhat crisp, fizzy, citrusy smell that is rather energising but also strange. I'm testing this fragrance in the Winter months, which doesn't really do this scent justice. I would recommend this fragrance as a Summer/Spring scent only. Like most of the perfumes I've been trying as of late, L'eau par Kenzo is refreshing and clean smelling. It's a fragrance that finds it difficult to offend. This fragrance is oddly sweet yet sour in the opening. The blend of unique flowers and the vanilla in the base, gives this scent a comforting and feminine quality. I actually sense a melon and pear note in this fragrance, and was rather surprised when they weren't listed as one of the ingredients. Overall, this is a fragrance that is hard not to like. I am eager to test this in the Summer to determine whether or not I'll be purchasing a full bottle.

I have a bottle of L"Eau par Kenzo in my cabinet. It is from a couple years ago, from a time I wasn't so crazed about rose scents as I am now. This was my favorite perfume then. This week I spread it in a hurry before going to work, and was surprised (again) by how good and fresh and clean it smelled. Watermellon? Water? Cedar? A fresh breeze, uplifting like the wind one could feel when staring at the sea from a rocky hill covered by trees on a sunny day. Lasts all day in a hot, humid weather. Very nice. I would by another one anytime.

Not really thrilled with this one. To me it smells like cucumbers but I receive so many compliments when I do wear it that I think its just me. Worth a try as everyone seems to like it.

I've been wearing this for years and I love the faint lemony after-scent. I get melon too, although I never noticed any vanilla! It's quite light, easy to wear - fresh and zingy to start with, a little honey sweet after a couple of hours with a delicate touch of wood.

Great scent. Dewy, translucent, delicate. Especially pleasing to wear in a hot humid summer.....But the problem is: It's way tooooo popular in Asia! You can smell it *everywhere* in China, Japan, etc. Imagine the popularity of CK One when it just came out...

While browsing Sephora I decided to test a fragrance far away from anything I would normally be attracted to...and L'Eau par Kenzo ended up on my wrist. Shockingly good! This watery lotus flower scent is dewey fresh. I get a hint of soft pepper and watermelon seeds! Initial cool and refreshing water notes evolve into a lightly wooded - amber tinged base, which adds more depth than warmth to this blend. I'm intrigued by the unusual essences of nature here in
this divine combination of notes; a very impressive fragrance. Youthful and in good taste!
