L'Infante by Divine, 2005

A sheer jasmine (mainly, yes theres a smidge of ylang in the background) across which something subtle, synthetic and green creeps. Wont scare the horses; resolutely fails to interest me.

What a totally beautiful fragrance: Sensual, gossamery, elegant, delicate, feminine, sophisticated Flowery, fruity, green, light, and delicately sweet, it reminds me a bit of a creamy, white- floral Silver Mountain Water, only more refined and more regal. It certainly deserves its royal name, with its suggestion of youth, because it is completely captivating in both its elegance and its purity. The delicate greensivy and blackcurrant leavesare the perfect foil for the nuanced florals, while the sweets of the dry downambergris, vanilla, musk and tonkacomplete the progression to perfection. LInfante is one very special fragrance.

What a lovely beauty of a scent. Fresh, clean-very ladylike and youthful. I'm charmed, but not driven to buy it. I like my perfumes to be sultry vixens, not blushing young girl scents. I think this would be perfect for a teenager.

This bottle brings you the smell of Flowers' heaven, where only the best, sweetest and sensual flowers go to sleep. No words allowed on this fragrance; just a blushing smile.

This is a truly unique fragrance that literally makes my heart sing. It takes me to an ancestoral home, where huge arrangements of white flowers are intertwined with ivy. I walk down marble corridors and glimpse ballrooms and sumptuous dining rooms through half-open doors. I presume the name refers to the Spanish Infanta rather than a child (enfant) because it certainly isn't a childish smell. Very pretty top notes of Chinese jasmine, peony, blackcurrant leaves and ivy which are underlined with vanilla, tonka bean and musk.
Almost unbearably atmospheric.
