Generic Bergamot, violet, cedarwood. Throw in some Absinthe to give alittle sharpness, and you have...a generic citrus that is a little sharp. Very generic.

This is Millesime Imperial in a nutshell. This longevity just isn't as good a MI (not like MI has the best longevity..lol). If you are on a budget, and want a Millesime Imperial clone, pick this up. If you don't like MI, this one is not for you. I have MI, but I will rock L&L in between wears of MI.

The overwhelmingly positive responses to Love and Luck make me question what the juice is in the bottles that I've sampled. The superlatives ladled onto this fragrance aren't justified by anything I'm experiencing. I smell a bogus citrus, so common in men's offerings these days. I won't check off the roster of similar fragrances; it might crash the servers. For the first two hours or so, this is hard to take, smelling very synthetic and harsh. It does simmer down after that and smells relatively pleasant but incredibly derivative and commonplace. The packaging is second-rate as well.

Well, it's the end of civilization as we know it: Ed Hardy's name is attached to a decent product. This is a cross between Millesime Imperial and Bleu de Chanel -- imagine if MI had a bit more mint in it, and were made with synthetic ingredients. Pretty decent stuff, and the price is great. Does it have the depth of MI or Bleu, or smell as good? Nope. But its much cheaper, and you could do much worse.

If you love Millesime Imperial, but the price is just too high for you, I would STRONGLY recommend buying Love and Luck by Ed Hardy. It is a very faithful clone. Of course the melon note its replaced by a pear note, it is not nearly as big of a difference as it sounds. It still smells probably 90% of the same. Some people say Unforgivable is similar to MI as well but Love and Luck is more similar by far. Unforgivable is more darker and heavier. This is a light fresh scent you will enjoy. The flamboyant bottle design and the brand name (which appeals mostly to younger people around high school age) can certainly turn people off from it. At first, I was embarassed to add this bottle to my collection. However, when it comes to the juice itself, I loved it so much that I swallowed my pride and added it to my collection. The downside is the VERY short longevity. It lasts an hour or two tops. But the longevity of MI isn't that great either. Age Group: Under 30 Seasons: Summer Blind Buy: This is a relatively safe blind buy, but you should try this one first. Rating: 7.5/10 Verdict: Good for people who want something similar to MI, but for cheaper. However, serious collectors will probably prefer other fresher scents.

Thumbs down for anyone older than 18. Neutral thumb for people of high school age. I can't believe grown-ass men would want to smell like this. Sugary melon drying down to a watery, woody, musk.

I really like the fresh scent on this one. Projection is decent the first hour or so, but not as great afterwords. It would be great if longetivity was better. However, the more I have been wearing it, the more I like it. I can see a resemblence of Creed MI and it is such a great smell. This summer im going to see how much the longetivity changes.
