This is not entirely feminine, but definitely wearable for a woman. The opening carries rose and incense. The dry down becomes more powdery, lotion-like, and soft with an obvious rose presence. Not something I would buy.

Fascinating perfume. If you are careful applying it (otherwise it becomes a monster), it is just beautiful. It isnone of those aromas that you just can't stop sniffing. A little sweet, clean rose. Rose is not my favorite smell, butnwhen I tried this for the first time from a vial, I just loved it. It took me anfew weeks to make up my mind and buy it, but I finally couldn't help it. It has joined his brothers Epic, Jubilation XXV and Reflection in my collection. i am not fond on buying many frags from the same house, but this Omani house has me thinking howndifferent they are from the rest. I am already revserving some room for Opus VI...

Definitely a high quality juice with very good longevity and moderate projection; But a LARGE but: The scent is very floral and feminine to me, as the major role is playing by rose in it nearly the same way that well-blended ladies scents have. Certainly unique scent in male fragrance directory, but I think it is completely unisex and infact more on the female side! This would be a very high quality radiant and gentle female scent! Though not for me and I'd rate it Neutral, but for ladies sure thumbs up! Maybe I buy this for my wife!

I normally don't write reviews, but Lyric man is so enigmatic that I need to write a line or 2, to me the purest rose frag for a man, teenagers stay away! A grt rose from start to finish, no other rose frag I've smelt comes close to this, 2 thumbs up!!!

Soapy (don't like it) and a quite feminine (don't mind it). Rose is a indeed a very sensual and elegant note. If one has had little experience smelling rose fragrances, they will find Lyric excelent. To me, however, it smells ordinary, almost cheap. Other rose fragrances I have smelled are richer (Lumière Noire, Rose 31 and Black Aoud, for instance) and my nose just tells me Lyric is one (or more) step(s) below them. By the way, Lumière Noire is not so different from this and is so much less soapy, more on the masculine side (still on the edge though) and richer. I'll pass on Lyric Man. It's just OK for... soap.

I only have a small sample and have sprayed once on the back of my hand and so far WOW. One of the best pure smells I have come across. It's a nice clean deep soapy rose. Don't know if I could pull this off but I am really tempted to buy it anyway and if it doesn't work out give it to my wife just so I can keep smelling it.

Superb natural smelling rose based scent. Rose is the operative word, as it dominates the fragrance from start to finish and smells just like you might find a freshly cut one in your local florist shop. Quite frankly, I think this may be the most natural rose scent I have smelled to date (outside of having the rose itself)... Bottom line is Lyric Man is a great scent. The only "problem" I have with it is I think I would have trouble wearing it due to its feminine nature (IMO). I would *love* to smell this on a lady, however, as it smells fantastic. Another 4 out of 5 star winner from the house of Amouage.

Lyric Man is absolutely unique, a dark, surrealistic and opaque effluvium of burning oils, candels, incense, musky roses and balsams that convey your mind inside a cozy and secret dodgy salon of extrathunderstorm relax, somnolence, dark bacchanals and black widows. Mystic. A soapy, obscure spicy potion. Extra lush and velvety suede.

This is a beautiful and very well blended fragrance. Obviously rose plays an important role and the other elements are so well blended that it is difficult to identify the various constituents except to say that they play along wonderfully with the rose. The dry down is beautiful as well, and it is far from being a linear scent. It turns into something a bit spicy, woody, musky..perhaps. It does not project very much on me, it is rather more of a skin scent, but long lasting. An elegant floral that is not obviously feminine, though I am sure plenty of woman will love it as well. So many of you guys say that you may not be comfortable wearing it. But I say - don't worry - it is truly a beautiful and wonderful fragrance and it will blend in with your skin in a masculine way.

Lyric man is a confusing scent to my nose. It's a rich floral that works better in cold, damp temperature. Very classy and expensive smelling. It's a masculine rose that's the exact opposite of rose 31, that's more of a t-shirt & jeans scent and this is a tuxedo type fragrance. Rose and neroli up top over a spicy mix of saffron, ginger and nutmeg bottomed out by vanilla and a majestic frankincense note. 50ml cost me 270 so it's kinda pricey depending on your budget. Projection and longevity are really good, don't spray too much you'll ruin it, sometimes you may not smell it but others do.. This is one of those fragrances
