Par Amour Toujours by Clarins, 2005

Raspberries and roses, a match made in heaven! No staying power at all, at least I have to reapply very often and so my bottle is almost finished. I was terribly sorry to learn this was discontinued, I would have liked another bottle.

Yes, Par Amour Toujours is fruity and citrusy and sweet. All things I do like. But it lasts about 3 minutes on my skin and is gone! Poof! I am not happy.

I got citrus and light floral. Very subtle, very classy. I found it very fresh, but not particularly long lasting. A wonderful skin scent to wear during the spring and summer.

On me Par Amour smells like rosy cotton candy in the heat. I'm envious of what other reviewers said it smells like on them. Due to my experience, I'd never buy this. It's way too syrupy and sweet.

The top note of this young and sweet fragrance is 'candy conversation hearts'! ULTRA sweet! Shortly after wrist testing I washed with soap and water. Took another whiff...wow...it's nice! The base notes of this lovely fragrance are delicate. Reminds me of Clarins Elysium. Still, they've hit their target market: girls first attempt at wearing fragrance. Sweetly done!

Par amour for dreamers, as i call it! it's a very good scent for someone that likes raspberry cause it's the note that lasts the longest, it's not as sweet as others in the same "category" and you'll be amazed at how fresh it really is, it's gentle delicate, spring lovely and did i say tender?, the interesting thing is, for all its tenderness it lasts a great deal, but it's one that stays close to your skin and you might want to pamper yourself with it as opposed to one that screams Here I AM! smell the fruits!
Very well done. Not a fan of Par amour but love Par amour Toujours!

If you like raspberries, this one is for you. Don´t be fooled by the "for little girls" things, this fragrance is fresh and sweet, but not overly so, i`m 28 and i love it.
