Pierre Cardin Pour Homme by Pierre Cardin, 2008

Received this for free at one of the perfumeries with a purchase of a burberry scent. It's not bad, though it is confusing to me that I get a strong cinnamon note to it during the drydown that is not one of the listed notes. As SirSlarty says, the sillage is fairly poor, but it's still detectable on the skin for quite a while.

I agree with SirStarty in the review above. A very nice scent, warm, woodsy and still fresh smelling. The bodyspray is even more nice but hard to find.
And that for a cheap price. Better then most scents int this pricerange. Highly recommendet!

This is definitely NOT the same Pierre Cardin as the one distributed by Tsumura, Intl., before it ws distributed by Aladdin Fragrances of Deer Park, NY. I can tell the formula has been changed because I compared the two. The Tsumura distributed PC is deeper, richer and has longer staying power. The "cheaper" Aladdin Fragrances version is weak, watery, and has practically no staying power at all. What is going on at Aladdin? Why are they skimping on the original essential oil content in PC? Very sad indeed how these companies seem to "pull the wool" over their customers' eyes and sell them watered-down fragrances. Very pitiful in my opinion...

Highly woodsy and aromatic. I was oddly reminded of the sawdust accord found in Les Nez Let Me Play The Lion of all things. Top notes are fleeting (which are tart fruits and white florals) so this is all about the basenotes. Pierre Cardin pour Homme has minimal sillage but excellent longevity. A very surprising scent.
