Osmanthus is the star fragrance note here in Precious Heart. It is a delicate golden flower native to China, and posseses a fruity-apricot floral aroma. Osmanthus dominantes this composition. I have read Precious Heart also contains light cardamom and cedar. I never get the cardamom. The cedar is barely there after a long drydown. This mix has an overall tinge of powdery green, which brings a feeling of spring ~ youthfulness ~ life. IMO this limited edition fragrance would be best suited to a younger wearer...maybe someone just discovering the fabulous house of Guerlain!

This is really growing on me. It's a fresh floral without being dull, but it's certainly not the most interesting fragrance out there. I agree that this could be an introduction to the fabulous house of Guerlain for a younger wearer, since it's well made and despite the fresh feel it has a classy feel to it.

Upon opening Precious Heart is really green and fruity. Tho, it's not a good quality fruit note. It's very antiseptic smelling. Precious Heart is very long lasting, tho I cannot get pass that insipid antiseptic cardamom fruitiness. This does soften the longer you wear it, but not worth the 2 hours of rotten greens and antiseptic fruit.
