I can't help but laugh as I saw this on the directory, this is the very first fragrance I bought at the age of 16 when I was aa huge quiksilver fan and I loved the smell, still today I love burning Sandalwood wood oil in my home and this is the base of this fresh scent that I replace every time its finished. I also consider this as occasional beach scent and the nice bottle fits perfectly in a beach bag. True to the brand and the brand vision this fragrance will always resemble the laid back beach atmosphere and the surfing culture.

An unusual aquatic-sandalwood hybrid. I don't normally go for aquatics but this was so cheap in a sale I couldn't refuse. Anyway, it has a lovely drydown of good quality, natural-smelling sandalwood (Australian), as good as you will find anywhere nowadays. Excellent value for money. Longevity about 6 hours.

Have to agree with most of the others that this is a very good daytime scent, it does smell somewhat artificial but has those nice marine/citrus notes one would expect from Quicksilver. For my pH/skin type however, longevity is an issue, after the topnotes are gone, I can hardly smell it. I would say that for me it lasts for 1-2 hours at most and then I can't smell anything, it does have basenotes I'm sure but might not go well with my skin. This kind of makes it useless as a scent for me because even if I apply exactly before I leave (which is unlikely), I lose one hour in transit to work and then smell of nothing for most of the day. On the plus side I got 100 ml for 12 pounds (on sale) so can't complain. But still I have to say that it is a beach scent, i.e. apply before you leave your hotel room on holiday to go to the beach, so by the time you get in the water the scent will have gone anyway. In conclusion, a good generic sea and sun fragrance that can compete with more expensive ones when it comes to scent, but with a small window of opportunity. -- Note: I have to say that I know fresh fragrances have little staying power, but Quicksilver pushes that to a low.

I give this one a thumbs-up. Pleasant, not heavy...Good for summer and outdoors. The top notes include a nice citrusy opening (grapefruit and bitter orange) with a touch of sea accords. The eucalyptus adds a nice "minty" background. The drydown is enjoyable with Australian sandalwood. I have to spray more than usual to get the effect and sillage that I desire. Still smells pleasant after 8-10 hours. Overall, this was a nice surprise. I tried it, liked it and bought it at TJ Maxx at a great price.

A cheap enough fragrance to blind buy. It took a few wearings to understand the dominating note here. At first I thought of this as a Summer fragrance, mostly because of the name, but also because I smelled a lot of citrus. It's actually a minimal amount of citrus and a lot of woods. Mostly sandalwood, with some cedar as well. The sandalwood in this fragrance is naturally smelling, which is quite a surprised. It's not sweet like most synthetic cheap sandalwood's. Quicksilver doesn't mock the sandalwood note, it IS sandalwood. It is a simple fragrance. Starts off with some citrus -- I pick up on the bitter orange and grapefruit, while I also get a fantastic sweet tangerine note in the opening. A little bit of thyme in there as well, but hard to pick up on. Dissecting such a simple fragrance is really pointless here. It has a citrus top, and a dominating wood middle and base. An excellent choice, especially if you love sandalwood. It's also inexpensive, I got a 1 oz bottle for about 8 bucks. Projection is great, longevity is around 6 hours.

I picked up a 50ml bottle for just £6 ($9) at a local fragrance shop for that price it really is an excellent daytime fragrance. Its fresh, very green and I can imagine smelling this on the beach somewhere in the sun. Ive had good comments and people have mistaken it for Diesel. It surprisingly projects for around 2-3 hours and lasts up to 5 or so on my skin! Excellent cheap buy for the summer

Now this one is a surprise! Kinda minty fresh on the top with a sandlalwood finish. Very nice indeed. No, its not a niche scent so don't expect "niche quality" (doubtful with some so called niche houses) but a great scent for the day, playing sports and the likes. Nice! Me likes!

dont be deterred by the price, this is a surprisingly good citrus woody scent. It starts off very citrusy and dries down to be woody, and slighty aquatic feeling. it lasts quite a long time too.Not an amazing frag, but i would expect a lot less for the price.

Dont be put of by the cheap price tag or the label - this ones a pleasant surprise. Nice Eucalyptus note, which loses its edge after about an hour to reveal a cool, minty fragrance....try it...............the drydown is better than the opening.......Not an absolute must have but a nice one to have in your collection

I really enjoy this marine/wood frag. It was a complete surprise like CoL had mentioned earlier. The opening of orange and grapefruit is quite nice, flowing into a clean eucalyptus and sandalwood accord. The company boasts the quality of sandalwood used and it shows. It has a very nice laidback drydown. After about 3 hours the scent hugs close to the skin, but seems to activate a bit more with perspiration. Great scent for active men.
