Get a bottle of Tropicana OJ and douse yourself in the juice and you'll have the same effect as with Royall Mandarin with about the same longevity. The only advantage of RM is that you don't get sticky. Forget about this scent, not worth the extravagant price.

A pleasant orange/mandarine scent, but lacks the sophistication of citrus scents such as Creed Virgin Island. This can be forgiven, since it's 1/10 the price. However, I can't recommend it because it doesn't last. I liked it enough that I made the attempt to move it to a spray bottle. This helped, but I would still have to apply more than I am comfortable doing to gain any sillage or longetivity.

Smells somewhat like Old Spice Fresh Scent, but not as good (and that's not saying much). Synthetic and confused scent.

The opening, heart note, and drydown of Royall Mandarin present a possibly (but not really) pleasant orange / mandarin note. It lasts for twenty minutes if youre oops, I guess I dont really want to say if youre lucky: Its more likely that youre lucky that it doesnt last longer Im not fond of this particular mandarin note it has no personality, so theres nothing else to judge by except longevity, which in this case is very short.

At last!
Someone has created a truly spicy herby citrus!
I love citrus scents and this is by far the best I've found so far...it is orange rather than mandarin, combined with spicy accords and some distinct herbal notes (I think thyme).
It is refreshing, zingy and not in the least sweet.
It doesn't have much lasting power, but it has become my favourite everyday scent.

Of the Royall Scents I have experienced (Lyme, Rhum, Spice) the Mandarin is the worst. It is a terrible fragrance. Cheap, stinky. The others are lovely. Not this. Steer clear.
