What opnes with a pleasant, sort of unsweetened, lemon-black tea accord, morphes after a while into a solid and well rounded woody-sandalwood with just a tad of sweetness. Probably not earth-shaking but incredibly delightful nonetheless. Perfectly unisex.

I am still not a very good "nose", but Sandalo per Teti deserves my first review. This scent is something wonderful on my skin and it lasts really for many many hours. Very good job Miss Tonatto!

Tonatto is truly a gifted perfumer and it shows in Sandalo per Teti's impressive equilibrium. The citrus is present and in fact persistent, but not sharp, the sandalwood is warm and distinctive, but never feels obnoxiously synthetic, tea and lavender blend in perfectly with hesperides, woods, and very restrained hints of vanillic sweetness. The result is an amazingly elegant cold-weather fragrance with perhaps slightly less panache, but also much greater discretion than Chanel's Egoiste. Highly recommended, as is the entire line.

I like this and think it definitely unique, though citrusy scents do not work well with my chemistry. It also smells too masculine on me....animal masculine. Somewhat like my hubby's sweat (in a GOOD way). That's why I like it, but not on me! I'll have him try it!

I am a huge sandalwood fan, so I liked this one immediately. The tea is prominent, but is read by my nose as a sort of rich, tobacco-y accord. This is a warm, friendly, and somewhat elegant day fragrance, great in cold weather. It's got spiced citrus and a sweet vanillic quality, but this is cut by the astringency of the tea. The sandalwood is a mellow one. Wearing it, I was flooded by the feeling that I know this fragrance well, but I have never worn it before... then it HIT me: Sandalo per Teti reminds me of my first serious boyfriend's Pierre Cardin (okay -- it was 1983, cut me some slack!). Does anyone else get the connection?

On me, this scent is totally citrus. However, it is not necessarily a summer scent; too quirky. It is rich and very pleasant, and, perhaps because of the sandalwood, lasts much longer than most of my citruses. I could wear SPT anywhere but would probably choose something else for evening.

Notes: orange, lemon, floral notes, lavender, black tea, woods, sandalwood

An interesting sandalwood fragrance: Dry dark woods and strong black tea with an aromatic background. I get a darker fragrance than Robyogi does. It opens with a potent but short lasting aromatic blastseems like eucalyptus and a slight aromaticism is continued as an undercurrent for at least an hour. The citrus notes are pretty well overshadowed by the woods and tea. I dont think that the wood in the opening is sandalwood, but whatever kind of wood it is, with the black tea it takes on a dark, almost but not quite, bitter character. I can sense that there is lavender in the top and middle accords, but my nose cant identify any floral notes. The drydown is a soft, smooth sandalwood hovering a little over the skin. Its quite a straight-forward and comfortable note that lasts for hours. I really enjoy Sandalo per Teti. It is one of the easiest to wear sandalwoods Ive experienced even if it is not one of the most endearing; it has excellent longevity; and it has rich, dry wood tones. It is a serious / comfortable fragrance and a definite thumbs up, but there are other sandalwoods I like better.

A semi-sweet, easy-to-wear sandalwood scent, sort of like a light woodsy-oriental. For as average as that sounds, Sandalo per Teti is pretty unique and interesting. I tried this at Barney's in Boston, where I turned the salesperson onto it. He had overlooked it, as seems to be so common with Tonatto's scents. In my opinion, this house really deserves more attention.
