This is a pretty floral with the perfect name for what it is. It is tropical and fruity and flowery, yet light, like a sun dappled flower garden. This is not a fragrance I would wear every day, but if I am in a bikini with my Chanel sunglasses and my beach cover up on, it is the perfect thing.

Highly underrated little frag, IMO. It's perfect for all seasons (despite the name) as a no-brainer scent: I can always throw it on when I'm not in the mood for anything else. While I find it hard to distinguish individual notes, there's a semi-sweet tropical flower bouquet going on supported by resinous notes, musk and (some) vanilla. Gets a little powdery in the dry-down, but certainly not too much so.
Expensive soap meets posh suntan lotion, in the best possible sense.

i wore this by mistake thinking it was the male version. very light citric/floral great for weather above 80 degrees. unisex as i can't find the male version without paying a heavy price tag.

I definitely can not imagine a man wearing Sun, really, except for maybe the type of men who wear speedos during the summer. I remember the first time I smelled this scent was in the dead of winter at a ski resort in Turkey, and it seemed extraordinarily exotic and cozy at the same time. I think it works wonderfully almost any time of year, but it does need to be worn by a specific type of person. It's a rich amber and caramel as everyone's said, with a hint of green to keep it edgy. A billion times more complex and wonderful than the other summetime fragrances. Need to buy a new bottle!

OK, it's Halloween. You you get home with the goody bag, You open it and smell the multiple varieties of sweets mixed together in your nose. You reach in the bag and sift through all your sweeties and there it is....WAX LIPS! Remember them? they were either the classic lips or the vampire mouth...SUN smells like wax lips! The first time i smelled SUN something really irritated me about it, i knew that smell and couldn't place it for over a year. I cant remember how I made the association but since then i cannot wear this scent. LOVED wax lips, i even liked SUN but after making that association it kind of ruined it for me...Come Halloween, go check it yourself...

And interesting sunshine/summertime fragrance that I initially wrote off as just another tropical Azuree Soleil/Bronze Goddess/Miami Glow 'posh suntan oil' kind of scent. But I was too hasty. This is actually a very well put-together fragrance that has a good progression and a very nice base that lasts well. Yes, it has that kind of 'beach skin accord' and a tropical feel, but it doesn't have the synthetic tones I get from the others. And the base is indeed beautiful and very wearable.
I may buy a little bottle.

Don't get the Joop comparison at all (thank God). It's vanilla, spice and musk, brilliantly blended, but really fresh also. It's much nicer than the later men's version and I don't have a problem wearing it. Sillage and longevity are excellent. This seems to be a real sleeper and great value for money. Gorgeous!

Currently my favorite scent. I will wear it all year, though it does recall a sultry summer night. Everything about it is "warm", and it has a very calming effect. Vanilla, spice, and a bit a floral to it make a perfect blend.

Sun has been one of my top favorite fragrances of all times. On me it opens just with a touch of green and for change I like that, but then right away there is a burst of SUN with the most sensuous floriental notes mixed together just superbly. And the the most exquisite drydown with golden ambery notes that seep through vanilla, mixing most deliciously with Sandalwood and Musk.... Also wherever, I've seen this fragrance advertised I noticed it mentioned that SUN, like the name would suggest it, is best for the summer nights and the outdoors... But, I love it in the winter when the BIGGEST, fluffiest snowflakes are falling and gently lulling in the air as if they were ornaments meant to stay in the air suspended... Sun is just perfect for days like that... I just love the way sunshine glistens like crystals in the snowflakes... JUST a little bit of MAGIC in winter!
