To me this smells just like condensed milk. The kind you get from a tin can and has a lot of sugar added to it. In the first minute or so, it smells a bit metallic, which I think is the heliotrope. It reminds me a little bit of the start of secretions magnifiques, but definitely not in an unpleasant way as it has none of the foul sourness that scent has. After half an hour I just get milk and vanilla. It doesn't changes that much after that, but it does lasts better on my skin than most Jo Malone scents. Jo Malone scents are supposed to be layered with others from the line. It might just be a marketing ploy, but I do like the idea. I haven't tried any others from the tea collections, although I do like this one with lemon fresca from guerlain.
