A very soft, very milky/lactonic peach, jasmine and white musk combination, which seems to be impressive in sillage, it has generated positive comments several times. It has an underlying butteriness which is charming. I can only relate to natural shea butter that has a slightly smokiness to it. X however lacks the sour component I find disturbing in smoke scent. The fruity aspect is balancing on the very ripe side with a honeyed sweetness and sometimes dangerously close to be rotten. The jasmine smells of high quality. Nasomatto Nuda feels like a close sibling. Nice done, but ultimately too linear and therefore boring to justify the price tag.

X is a peach perfume from beginning to end with leanings towards a gourmand scent at the very dry down . It begins with this shampoo-esque peach note -bright and neon on my skin . It stays a bright peach for some time and then become a richer ,more delectable peach including the peach skin around about midway of the scent . I do not pick up muguet which is meant to be in there somewhere. At this point I thoroughly enjoy X perfume. X is a loud perfume at the beginning only - dense but ultimately lacks longevity . The middle is a calm of that yummy peach , a ethereal sweet jasmine and then it gathers up force again with a clean patchouli /woods . The ingredients are very good IMHO and it's a sexy scent . X has some interesting points but I would have to think 100 times before spending money on a scent that ultimately does not last longer than 2 hours before becoming so faint as to be hardly perceptible . No one else will smell it on you after 2 hours and you yourself will have to press your nose into your skin for a whiff of X. I am giving X for Women a green thumbs up because to be fair - it IS a good scent overall but please, Clive Christian do something about that longevity . A scent of $ 355 plus tax for 50 mls should last longer than a scent like Coco Madamoiselle which has wonderful tenacity at $ 115 plus tax. I love this perfume but hesitate and am disappointed with the lack of tenacity . Despite the lack of tenacity - I bought it. Yes, i couldn't help it - I love the smell of it.
