    Re: uh oh Duchaufour

I agree. I don't think it's much different from any other luxury company dealing with custom orders coming from the same clientele, the only difference being that they're discreet about it.

    Might...

Re: Best of the Blue Mediterrano line

this. Plus it's the one with the most longevity, something all of them sadly lack.
  5. Re: Looking for a boozy fragrance to add to my rotation.

A couple of suggestions in a similar thread

I'd also add By Kilian's Straight to Heaven, which has a hint of rum in it.
  6. Re: M7 Oud Absolute similar to original M7 ???

I'll have to agree. I had it on my wrist for half an hour now from the beginning it's very, very weak with none of that medicinal note that's so prominent in M7. Not worth its price at all.

Re: ** NEW** GAULTIER MASCULINE: Kokorico

It's a poor man's Borneo 1834 with none of that startling mix of patchouli and chocolate with minty undertones. It's very linear, and quite bitter which was mentioned already. What I do love though...
  8. Re: Scent that you own but your family does not like

My mother doesn't like any of my perfumes, mostly because her nose is hypersensitive. The worst instance I can remember is when I've sampled Santal 33 and she was complaining for a couple of days...

    Re: SOTD - Thursday, November 10, 2011

I am sharing the SOTD with easyfish, just the right thing for a musty November day with the wonderful smell of wet leaves in the air.

    Re: • M7 Oud Absolu •

Well, the name might be different, but so is the packaging which is identical to the new Rive Gauche and others, so I've just assumed that it's just a different way of peddling their "old" products...

    Re: • M7 Oud Absolu •

OK, this doesn't sound quite right - as far as I can tell the original didn't have any myrrhe, labdanum or patchouli, for that matter. Would be a shame if this was reformulated :(

How exciting. I might actually get this one instead of the old one if the oud is as "absolu" as it's described.

    Re: Perfume is getting pricey!

Well, I still can't get over the fact that Les Exclusifs cost $110 for a 75ml bottle, which is ~£70, but sells for £100 in the UK! That's like 150% of the American RRP. Of course not mentioning the...

  23. Re: New Fragrance: Prada Candy (Not Suitable for MWBTFPOM)

Re: New Chanel: No 19 Poudre and Jersey

It's actually nothing like Gris Claire. It's a very soft and mellow lavender, almost like it was diluted. Gris Clair's lavender is chilly with a smoky, dark base - Jersey's complete opposite.

Re: what does tuberose smell like?
