    I can see the similarities but the plum note in Immortal Beloved is quite strong. Also it's a much sweeter fragrance than the HdP. I don't like either in any case due to immortelle aversion.

    Monsieur Balmain lasts reasonably long on me if I spray it heavily but it's as much about wood as lemons. Limone di Sicilia by Il Profumi di Firenze is all about lemon and lasts a good few hours....

    Agree with this one, it's very clean and bright.

    My own favourite uplifting citrus is Eau d'Aviateur by Atelier Flou, but the sandalwood note may discount it for you.

    Oooh, an hour later and the sweetness has worn off quite a bit. I'm getting oodles of iris, coffee and cocoa. Very nice. Not dissimilar to DHI but airier and less lipsticky. Well worth a sampling.

    Personally I prefer GH Intense over the standard GH, but the latter is nice too. The Pininfarina edition is just another bottling of standard GH. Platinum Egoiste is OK but not very distinctive IMHO.
