Please put me down for 50ml Aventus.
Thierry Mugler A*Men Pure Havane 100ml, ~55% full - $45
ScentStory 24 Platinum 100ml, ~98% full - $50
Versace The Dreamer 100ml, ~60% full - $20
All bottles come with the box.
I would buy Creed's from a place like FragranceNet so that I have the benefit of the sprayer. Also, with many of the Creed's, the 4 ounce bottles from FragranceNet are cheaper than splits, on a per...
Placed an order for:
What's so hard about emailing them to make an order? This is what they told me when I put in my order around a week ago.
Shipping was around $20-$25 to Australia.
2-4 depending on the fragrance
Great buy! Did you get it from one of the boutiques?
Laph, do you really think that Bond will mail samples all the way to Australia? If so, I might send my card in. I completely disregarded it, initially, because I figured that the program is aimed at...
Full bottles only:
Dior Homme Intense
Pure Malt and Pure Havane (when, and if, they arrive)
24 Gold and 24 Platinum (on the way)
I emailed firstname.lastname@example.org. This is the information on prices that they gave me:
It looks as though you got the image wrong for the 3rd bottle. I see Dior Homme Sport!
Edit: So the error was in the text (MiP EDP)
I've never carried atomisers with me and never will. I almost always go home and shower before going out, so that's when I'll reapply/apply a different scent.
I also buy from Accessories for...
I couldn't agree more. I'm constantly going to department stores and the reps there have never once offered samples. The only exception is my nearest Hermes boutique - they gave 2x4ml samples without...
I'm always changing my mind between the two (both vintage bottles). To be honest, I don't love either of them, but I'm happy to have them.
My fragrance sits on me for, at least, half an hour before I leave the house. It's simply because I apply while I'm changing and I usually do a bunch of other things afterwards. I wouldn't want to be...
I keep my boxes due to the sentimental value (having the complete package). Although, recently, I put all of my perfumes in their boxes - and the boxes into a shoebox - to help combat the upcoming...
I blind bought this too, as well as Platinum (both with the 24ml pocket spray for only 4 usd extra!) Shipping to Australia seemed reasonable too, especially since I think it's tracked.
Looks great! Did you deliberately buy a certain number of each brand so that you could line them up like that?
You never know with FragranceNet. People who purchased 4oz Aventus several months ago received 2012 bottles, whereas people buying from the current batch received 2011 Z01 bottles.
It's back in stock: http://www.fragrancenet.com/dior-homme-intense-cologne/christian-dior/mens-fragrances/mf/en_US/19763
I'm not going to buy a bottle myself, but I'll be annoyed with my decision...
As in, he/she included it for free? The gift is more expensive than the purchase itself!
My bottle of AdG went bad in less than 3 years (serial code indicates it was manufactured around 3 years ago). I made a thread about it...
I can't remember who posted this (in fact, they may also have been the author) on Basenotes recently, but it looks as though the perfumer is Jean-Claude Ellena. And the reason being because the pH on...
If you're going to look at it that way, then it should probably be LIDGEPHEE
Blind buying is definitely more exciting! I'm been waiting on 4 bottles to arrive for a while now.
Same here. I've been sampling a lot, so I only wear my C42B110Z01 batch once every couple weeks. But, when I do wear it, I pick up wafts of it throughout the entire day.
I was literally thinking about this last night! I'd actually use the SOTD feature if this was implemented.
Does anyone know when Frapin started writing "Eau de Parfum" under the title, on their bottles, instead of "Frapin & Co."?
I gave it another spray just then and it is definitely off. Again, all of the top notes are almost completely gone, leaving behind the sharp alcohol and there is a non-existent drydown - I don't even...
I'm well aware that fragrances can last many, many years as long as they've been stored in a cool, dark place.
However, my bottle of Acqua di Gio - that is less than 5 years old...
I always go for the 100ml bottle (if it's available) simply because I think the bigger bottle looks better. I'll make an exception when I start buying niche fragrances though because they're already...
That's strange. I had a look then and it's still working for me. In any case, a user posted a new 20% code in the discounts section: SWTP2, 04/08/2012 expiry.
Evidently, Tropics seems to really hate the juice.
At the moment, if I click on the "20% off - any order - click here for code" banner and enter my email, it allows me to take 20% off my entire order. Albeit, it's not an actual code this time....
I'm yet to receive the bottles of PM and PH that I blind bought, but I feel as though I'll be disappointed with, at least, one of the two.
Acqua di Gio back in late 2010. Haven't used it since mid-late 2011 and I wouldn't mind getting rid of it.
Exactly what I think and do.
Is this because those are the two with the most prominent iris?
The lady I spoke to, the other day, at Melbourne David Jones said that they don't stock Creed. I'll probably double check that sometime soon.
Yeah, I went into David Jones the other day and found that they didn't have any Bonds. I guess that big sale a while back really was a clearance. Which website did you use?
Yes, that is true for us in Australia. However, Americans spell both the noun and verb as "license" and, in this context, it appears that the word is being used as a noun. Hence, why I pointed out...
I just thought I'd point out that "licence" is the British spelling so it really isn't a misspelling. Obviously, that doesn't make the website any better, but at least you know.
Where'd you buy New Haarlem? I'm considering the very same blind buy since it's so hard to get a sample.
Where'd you pick up the Vintage DHI?
I was surprised when L'instant de Guerlain Extreme didn't come off with soap and water. I thoroughly scrubbed my wrist in the afternoon and I could still smell it later that night at around 11pm....
I recently bought a bottle and, the first time I sprayed it, the top notes almost nauseated me. By the 3rd or 4th time I applied it though, I started to really like it. Once it starts drying down, it...
I'd also like to know.
I haven't had that much experience with DHI, having just received a small decant of the vintage version, but the one spray that I applied on my wrist lasted well over 12 hours. Even after going to...
That pretty much sums up how I feel about this issue! Also, since I already have a few 3.4oz bottles, I'd like to maintain consistent bottle sizes (just for the sake of it).
I bought into the hype and blind bought PM and PH...
