Re: Ambre Nuit by Christian Dior

Replying to myself here, but I noticed this morning that my sprayed card did not smell at all. Judging from what I'm reading around here, there has definitely been some 'tinkering' with this scent...

Re: Is there any problem in buying "Testers"?

Here are my thoughts on testers:

    - You might not get a cap/box
    - The lack of a box could result in your scent going 'off' after a while. So store appropriately
    - They might not make good gifts...

Re: Replace Azzaro PH with YSL Jazz

I made the mistake of selling my Azzaro PH many years ago and as I got more experienced with different fragrancen notes, I regretted my decision.

I now have several versions of the Azzaro in my...

Re: Ambre Nuit by Christian Dior

Manage to get a quick spritz of Ambre Nuit, even though I was looking for something completely different.

My first thoughts are this is lovely, has a good musky (perhaps the ambergris?) rose note,...

Thanks. Always happy to help the community out where I can.

I've had it on now for close to 12hrs and it is now a skin scent.

Re: New Azzaro Pour Homme refillable bottle

I'm wearing the new bottle (as pictured in OP) today. Smells abasolutely wonderful. Definitely an all-round smoother scent with a creamier character.

    Re: Sweet Woody Saffron

Good suggestion. I was going to say Aramis Calligraphy Rose, as that also has a lot of saffron in it with a sweet-woody vibe.

    Re: Millesime Imperial LT3313T01

I think the '33' is a code that refers to the fragrance, i.e. MI. The letters before that (A, C, LT) refer to the bottle size: 30ml, 75ml and 120ml. More recently though, the LT doesn't seem to apply...

    Re: Pasha de Cartier

Me too. The dry down is gorgeous. It reminds me of 1881 and Boucheron - they all have a similar dry down. Pasha though has just the lightest touch of sweetness in the dry down which makes it superb....
