...and this, too.
This one still remains a favorite of mine.
This is part of the repackaging that Hermes launched in December - The Classics Collection.
Here's the line up (courtesy of Sorcery of Scents):
Thanks for the URL. I did a search and for some reason, this thread did not show up on the results.
Has anyone tried this yet?
Bottega Veneta Pour Homme and Santa Maria Novella Alba di Seoul.
Another endorsement for this.
To give you guys a point reference, in my opinion, this is akin to Xerjoff 1861. I just checked the notes for both and they are almost identical.
This is one of a handful that I keep a back-up bottle of just in case they discontinue production.
This is everything I had hoped it would be. It has a very classic feel. Very elegant.
++1 for this.
It seems like Luckyscent's selections are not exactly the same as Aedes'.
This and Prada Infusion d'Homme.

Let me know if you have one you want to part with. US only.
I like it, but this is the only fragrance that a co-worker hated enough to call me out on it and requested not to wear again in the office.
For me, I find Stella by Stella McCartney as my bedtime comforting scent.
Maestrale EDP by Profumi di Pantelleria
This is not encouraging. Alberto Morillas also made Eau d'Italie's Acqua Decima, which I am looking forward to trying.
Thanks for responding. I've been a subscriber to their mailing list for some time now and I don't remember ever receiving a discount code from them. I was curious since there is a box to put in a...
Does Aedes de Venustas issue discount coupons? Does anyone have one they can share? Thanks.
Sounds like the new one from Eau d'Italie called ACQUA DECIMA would be a perfect fit.
The gold of lemons and mandarins, the warmth of Neroli, the fresh coolness of petitgrain, enlivened by zesty...

nu_be speaks of the origins of the universe, of that primordial magma that gave birth to the stars, a material still in fusion that harks back to chaos, a state preceding finished form. Something...
Although I would imagine it to be not very original, I love Testosterone and I am thinking of getting a full bottle. I can't stop smelling my arm.
I received it as a sample from First-in-Fragrance.
Those of you still looking for Norma Kamali Incense should seek out and try Rundholz Parfums - 03. Apr. 1968. Potent!!
I find Linari Fuoco Infernale (purgatory) as a challenging fragrance to wear.
Herbacious-earthy aspects of cinnamom bark and birch raisin are surrounded by sweet-spicy...
I own GpM but haven't had the opportunity to smell PoaL. Is Portrait of a Lady a fragrance that is meant to be at least gender-neutral? I mean, the name is Portrait of a Lady.
Perhaps Naked by Police Parfums? This is discontinued though, but I think it has a similar vibe to Squash.
Those who love Infusion d'Homme will probably love Luna Rossa as well. It has the same quiet, clean aura. It is not outrageous to have called it Infusion d'Lavendre.
These bottles are fantastic! I want them all in my collection.
I have some backups just in case they discontinue production.
No show of love for Esprit du Tigre? Definitely one to try.
Fantastic! This is it. Thanks H!
I recently came across a blog that had an extensive discussion of MUSKS. I did not bookmark the site and now I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know which of the blogs had this ?
Already blind bought this as I am a big fan of their line up. Waiting...
I find Stella very comforting.
My favorite rose fragrance, regardless of whether it is masculine- or feminine-leaning, believe it or not, is Paul Smith ROSE.
Count me as a loyal fan.
What about Creed Windsor? Definitely not for blind buy though as it is very expensive.
-- Update --
My bad. I think this is no longer available?
Phenomenally expensive indeed. I want to smell Montabaco and Qi though.
Montale's Soleil de Capri
Le Boise by Ginestet
Could it be Armani Code instead? Because that's what it reminds me of.
Humiecki & Graef Candour
Paul Smith ROSE
Nobile 1942 - Lavanda Nobile
Thanks for a side mention of my curious comparison to Heeley's approach.
Has anyone tried this - Amazingreen - and Play Green - who can give a compare-and-contrast review? Thanks.
Before reading this impression, I thought Monegal may be somewhat similar to Heeley's approach to fragrances. Now I am definitely intrigued.
Eagerly awaiting your reviews especially for Agar Musk.
Does anyone know a retail vendor that ships this internationally (to NAM, to be specific)?
CDG Odeur 53 or CDG Odeur 71
Will definitely seek this out. Sounds right up my alley.
Fils de Dieu is quite disappointing. I was expecting something subversive given that it's original name was borderline offensive. It's a nice creamy citrus. Quite tame, actually.
Not necessarily a car fragrance that smells like YSL La Nuit, but I wanted to share this line of car fragrances that I recently discovered.
Millefiori Car Air Freshener
It lasts forever and...
I just found this and Copper Skies and Creature available at MiN New York. I am not sure if this has been posted already on the board.
KEROSENE at MiN New York
Yes, teardrop, thanks for the tip!
She finally picked the one she likes the most. I was not surprised that she picked this one because even I enjoyed this fragrance immensely. It pretty much smells what it says it would smell like...
I got a sample of Moonshine. In my opinion, it's a dead-ringer for Bois d'Orage / French Lover. Of course, it's thinner/fleeting version of the Frederic Malle fragrance. But with a price that is...

Olfactive Studio Autoportrait
I made a mistake of going to Aedes again to do some last minute shopping. I was surprised how the store is totally empty other than the two surly staff. And this is exactly the attitude they...
Yes, Missoni Olympios. Absolutely agree. I actually preferred Olympios.
I ended up getting several samples with the promise to buy a full bottle of the one she likes the most. I think that works for both of us in the end.
Unfortunately, Sa Majeste La Rose is not...
Thank you for all the suggestions. I have pretty plenty candidates to try.
There are many positive reviews for this one. The description sounds very close to what I am looking for. Will seek out a sample. Thanks.
It is expensive, true, but not out of reach. I tried this once while in Creed boutique. It did not strike me as particularly natural. I will have to try it again. Thanks.
I will head out...
No. In fact, I haven't tried any. It will be given as a gift. Thanks for your suggestion.
Please suggest the most natural smelling rose soliflore you have ever smelled. The only limitation I will add is that it should not be hard to find or prohibitively expensive. Thanks in advance.
Now available for purchase at First in Fragrance.
Notes according the their website:
Topnote: Aldehydes, Safraleine
Please refer to my original post on the Male Fragrances Board. Thanks.
Has anyone tried this by now?
I have samples of all 3 fragrances and they are all excellent in my opinion and would not hesitate getting any one of them especially Autoportrait.
I've emailed them once and was told that they don't have any distributor in NAM.
Vintage Green Water is leaps and bounds better than the current or more recent reformulations. The version that I preferred is in an atomizer bottle that is pressurized, i.e. if you press the...
I finally had the opportunity to try this. I was surprised that what I smelled was timid version of Eau d'Italie EDT.
Eau d'Italie Eau d'Italie EDT
Top Notes: Incense, Begramot, Blackcurrant...
Loewe Siete (7)
I've received my sample of this. Although I like this one a lot, it is a dead-ringer for a cologne that I've always smelled on my co-workers. I worked for a financial company that employs a lot of...
I bought those A&F Fierce room fresheners from eBay and they worked fine for me.
They replied like this when I inquired about it recently:
After waiting for this to be available thru Luckyscent, it is now on back-order. What gives?
Creed's Jardin d'Amalfi conjures the same feel as Montale's Soleil di Capri, in my opinion.
Yes! It's the best place to try new ones and enjoy old favorites.
