Not sure which one is that. Maybe Eau Sauvage... Maybe Acqua di Gio...
Try CdG Vettiveru. Very nice fresh, light and clean vetiver.
It's 52$ for 125ml at Lucky Scent.
Bond No. 9 Riverside Drive. Reminds me of the walking through the country fields in the summer.
Hermes and Creed.
TDC Sel de Vetiver - salty skin after bathing in the sea
Profumi di Pantelleria Maestrale - probably the best Mediterranean scent
Eau d'Italie - warm earth and sea air
TDC Sel de Vetiver. I've found quite original it's warm salty skin scent.
Chanel Sycomore is great classic vetiver fragrance.
Agree with you. Boise Fruite is closer to SMW than MI.
Eau d'Italie. Warm earth and mediterranean air.
Maestrale by Profumi di Pantelleria
Ormonde Man, C&S Dark Rose - The Gentleman style success
Amouage Jubilation XXV, Creed BdP - The Globetrotter style success
Mazzolari Lui - The Godfather style success :)
It's not fake. Don't worry.
Try Ormonde Jayne Zizan. Very similar to The Beat but more complex, mature and natural.
It means red jacket.
Maestrale by Profumi di Pantelleria. Something I would like to drink on the hot summer afternoon. :)
It's still rarely available in Europe. So we have to wait for a week or two.
I've found someone's first impression on Now Smell This blog:
"...quite similar to Jicky and Le Male, with less...
Terre d'Hermes, Dior Homme, Guerlain L'Instant, Burberry London...
I believe he might like Diesel Fuel for Life. Also maybe Armani White, Mugler Cologne or Bulgari Aqua.
Has anybody tried this one? I can't find it in Basenotes Directory. Seems like real chick magnet... And much more. :)
Yohji Homme is the closest to Vetiver Tonka.
TDC Sel de Vetiver and Guerlain Homme shares some background notes with Yohji and Vetiver Tonka, but overall they are quite different scents.
TDC Sel de Vetiver 5/5 (salty skin)
Profumum Acqua di Sale 4/5 (salty air)
PdP Maestrale 5/5 (mediterranean breeze)
Creed Erolfa 3/5 (marine amber)
Creed MI 4/5 (fruity amber)...
Wait a week or two until it becomes available in stores and then try the new YSL La Nuit de l'Homme. It would be nice to wear something launched in the same year when you were married.
Mazzolari Lui - this is the real masculine fragrance
TDC Sel de Vetiver - the best sea scent and the best light vetiver
Profumi di Pantelleria Maestrale - one of the best summer scents
Fumerie Turque. Similar to Chergui, but darker, smokier and less sweet.
Cartier Declaration Essence. Citrus and woods, very nice and classy.
Genuine products, good prices, reliable, free shipping worldwide. I've never payed any custom fees on their shipments.
It would be great if they could offer a wider range of fragrances.
They treat markets and customers like they are selling some high end, top secret military technology. They don't send samples outside EU, export / non-export lines...
You should try Sel de Vetiver by The Different Company (the best sea scent IMHO; aqautic which actually is not aquatic) and Bond No.9's Riverside Drive.
TFFM is very similar to Baldessarini. Also, there are some similarites with D&G The One.
I like Guerlain Homme more, but Allure Home Edition Blanche is also nice and more feminine.
I believe the "key" notes are not disclosed yet. I expect much more.
Terre d' Hermes
Acqua di Sale by Profumum and Sel Marin by Heeley are the best two, IMHO. Also, if you find most aquatics sour and overpowering, you should try Mr. Hulot’s Holiday by CB I Hate Perfume. It's more...
Try Davidoff Adventure.
Agree it's very feminine. But to me it's not a scent of femme fatale. More like 90 year old widow countess, completely dressed in black.
I believe he would like Diesel Fuel for Life Homme.
The best I've tried: Acqua di Sale by Profumum and Mr Hulot's Holiday by CB I Hate Perfume.
Riverside Drive is great fragrance. One of my favorites.
Big houses consider only market research results and after that sales figures. That is why all new fragrances are quite similar.
Anything from CdG Incense series.
Saint Laurent Signs Cassel
PARIS — Yves Saint Laurent Parfums announced Monday that Vincent Cassel will be the face of an upcoming men’s fragrance.
The scent will be available starting March 2....
Creed's Bois du Portugal.
I'm curious about your first experiences with fragrances. So please name your first ones.
1. The first one you ever tried / wore (probably something form your dad, older brother, grandfather, or...
Acqua di Sale by Profumum
Sel Marin by Heeley
Aqua Marine by Bulgari
Original Colonia is nice and classy old style Italian frag, but I wouldn't wear it. Assoluta is trying to be older than original and completely fails IMHO. It has that "old ladies" smell.
I like it. Freshness with class and character. Creamy drydown is similar to the fresh Creeds (MI, SMW), but I think it's more elegant.
MI & SMW. Since it's not multiple choice poll, vote goes to MI.
Creed MI. Safe choice for intimate occasions.
Creed Millesime Imperial
Bond No. 9 Riverside Drive
TDC Sel de Vetiver
Somehow I've missed that part saying it will be released in October 2008.
Pozdrav i tebi.
Creed Himalaya (decant)
Is this one already available? Has anybody tried it?
Cold rainy day... Just perfect for Burberry London.
I've found it similar to Gucci Envy and Vera Wang. The One is less complex, but most of the main notes are there.
Bond No. 9 Riverside Drive
Could you tell me which (US, British, French, Italian...) men's magazines have practice to publish scented ads?
Acqua di Sale by Profumum.
Prada Amber and Emporio Armani White for sure. Cartier Declaration maybe.
Try Emporio Armani White. It's a light citrus-herbal scent with musk base.
And yes. You could wear it.
