Bump, prices lowered.
Another bump and new items added.
Bump. Updated with some HTF and/or discontinued bottles.
I know it's a longshot but I am hoping to find a new or used puck of either GIT or OV shave soap.
I really enjoy this scent. It's one my want and, at some point, I plan to acquire a bottle. However I'm curious to know if there are similar frags out there. I know some have compared JPG Le Male...
I have a decant of this and decided to wear it today. The top notes are incredible. To my nose quite reminiscent of both Tobacco Vanille and Back to Black. However in the dry down I get more of a...
I'm looking for the following (used bottles preferred):
Lubin Idole EdT
Profumum Antico Caruso
Patou Pour Homme (reissue)
I opened up my Kindle and an ad for this new fragrance popped up.
I've been thinking about trying to get Idole EdT...unfortunately they appear to be gone on the luckyscent website.
After some deliberation I pulled the trigger. You really cant find this stuff anywhere so I figured the $175 was a bargain...I do get to pay WA sales tax so that's another ~$20. I actually found...
I tested it against MPG Santal Nobel and have a slight preference for the Santal Imperial. If they still have it, I'll grab it and likely defer some cost my making decants.
On another note, I've...
Still undecided. One the one hand I have more frags then I need. But, this smelled great and I love Sandalwood. I'll test again tomorrow against Santal Nobel and decide...of course it won't be...
Stumbled upon a bottle at full retail...should I pull the trigger? How hard to find is it?
As others have suggested, MI and Sel Marin are not at all similar. I'd also add Heeley's Verveine to your list. It's a very clean minimalist scent that stays close to the skin but it's well grafted.
Of the ones mentioned in the poll I enjoy L'Artisan's Tea For Two. As others have mentioned, GPHII is another nice tea scent however I find it a bit too synthetic. Another great one is the tea base...
Decants are the only way to go if you like a lot of variety. Buying decants allow me to experience frags that I normally wouldn't purchase a full bottle of.
It's a tie. At least it goes 12 rounds and is decided by the judges...who could be on the take
I have about 30 bottles with maybe 30+ decants of 10ml+ along with hundreds of samples and smaller decants. I really think decants/splits are the way to go...it allows for variety.
Seriously? Sel Marin is not only one my favorite aquatic/marine scents, it also is one of my favorites...period.
Strange that some BN'ers get a nasty dead fish, etc vibe from it...I get a...
Many great suggestions here. I picked up a bottle of Gendarme cologne to use when I travel or when I know I'll be around someone who is sensitive to fragrances. However I wouldn't classify it at...
MDCI Invasion Barbare
I have a decant of Sel Marin here:
I may be interested in a decant of Malle's Geranium Pour Monsieur, particularly with Spring right around the corner. Another option would be Heeley's Verveine and/or Menthe Fraiche.
I have a number of items below and am looking for partial bottles of:
Profumum Antico Caruso
Patou Pour Homme either original or reissue
Interesting article although I found Olivier's comments regarding the exclusivity of his brand and dedicated use of natural materials to be amusing.
Big +1! Got the Tom Ford Tuscan Leather. Very generous of FISS80 to give away these bottles!
Thanks! Unfortunately my wife is not as much into fragrances as I am. I may have to get her a sample of MDCI Peche Cardinale as I really enjoy another of their fragrances - Invasion Barbare.
So I've managed to get a number of samples for my wife and the one she always comments on is Keiko Mecheri Peau de Peche. Anything similar to this that she should sample?
Below are some items up for sale. I'll note that I have perfect feedback (on the old site it was 50+ transactions with a 100% feedback).
While I am unlikely to accept a...
I just returned from Hong Kong and have the following update regarding the Harvey Nichols @ The One:
Guerlain - very extensive collection of fragrances including hard to find fragrances. I picked...
I want to thank Mr. Reasonable again for putting this wonderful guide together!
I happened to have a chance to visit the Lane Crawford @ IFC and picked up a bottle of Amouage Epic Man. Came out...
Thanks so much Sir! Really looking forward to the visit...and if I get to sniff and purchase a few frags that would really be icing on the cake.
Just curious but about how much are the Amouage...
Hi there Mr. Reasonable,
Thanks for responding to my query. At the moment I am considering Boir d'Orage/French Lover @ Joyce (TST), Amouage Epic Man and/or Homage Attar @ Lane Crawford (IFC...
I didn't want to start a new thread since my question is essentially a follow up to the OP. In any event I'll be in HK in about a month and am hoping to pick up a few niche scents. I'm coming from...
I would go with no fragrance or just one small spray for yourself...
I first became acquainted with GIT and thought it was a great fragrance. Them after taking the advice of others I purchased a bottle of Cool Water thinking that I would get the same exact fragrance...
Similar - maybe cousins. However I would say that PDN New York is a brother to Creed BdP.
Incense Pure - Sonoma Scent Studio
For a change you could consider two independent sellers of high end creams:
Queen Charlotte Soaps - http://www.queencharlottesoaps.com/
Al Raz's Bomb - http://alsshaving.com/
