    The irony is that if you buy £400-£500 of fragrances from one of the concessions in Selfridges or Harrods, they will literally inundate you with samples.

    I don't think it's an exact science

    Prolonged exposure to heat can break down the chemical bonds in a fragrance but it may only happen at a specific temperature
