I wouldn't change a thing, in fact I'd cut back. Otherwise I'd be poor soon after

Orange Spice and Baie de Genievre/Feuilles de Cannelier
C has a superior drydown to TL, but like hedonist I respect the original more than a copy.
Eternity one of the greatest ever
Currently it's silver mountain water. All time, its santal imperial
No disrespect to you or your preferences, but Van Gogh? Really?
I'd give creed a recommendation: make bath gel that actually lathers up.
I like Profumum Roma. Four siblings making scents that capture the essence of their home country.
Santal imperial and GIT are always in the rotation but ciel man and live jazz are new additions
Memoir hands down for me
I'm gonna say Xeryus rouge by Givenchy
That's awesome. Did you take pics with any celebs? We'd love to see them
They last fine on me, especially original santal
It's possible to get that effect if you over apply, but I can't say I've ever gotten that effect from SMW
Try it for yourself. There's nothing powdery about himalaya it's fresh and woody
DonŽt forget that many niche fragrances are made by independent perfumers that didnŽt get a job in a designer house lol..
The same perfumers working on designers do...
That part about Tom Ford couldn't be more wrong, well I'm not gonna say your opinion is wrong I just disagree. Tom Ford is the leading men's designer for formal wear, leather goods and shoes. He...
It'd be a classic masculine powerhouse, with a modern twist
Some perfumes start out green, as it oxidizes it slowly changes the color
Love all you mentioned they're all great. Try pure white cologne and himalaya
I only buy cheapies for nostalgic purposes but I do appreciate them and their place in history
Chanel allure is what you're looking for
Why is the options limited for the Tom Ford and the slumberhouse, but you can pick any montale?
Cooler weather for this one go light and it gets the job done every time. On of my favorite scents
It's a beautiful composition. The problem is, if you're a man you're gonna be challenged putting this on. This goes double for a young man. I see a woman wearing this or maybe a man in his 40's or...
Don't do it. Not in the summer. No way
There are very few scents I strongly dislike, but can't really say I like it either
I'm willing to bet that the sales associate in question told the op that the actor who's in the ads also wears it in an attempt to make a sale. And in typical basenotes fashion, instead of playing...
A Piece Of Me Pour Homme by Francis Kurkdjian
Xerjoff Kobe. I couldn't honestly recommend either of the two you listed
Silver Mountain Water and Green Irish Tweed are just two of many that I own and love. Erolfa and Original Vetiver also work great in the summertime. Good luck with your selection
I like live jazz or Absolute pour le Matin as summer scents
I think women can distinguish it, but that doesn't mean they're gonna like it
154. Beautiful stuff
I don't mind telling ppl what I'm wearing. I won't tell you the price though...
Live jazz is one of the best summer fragrances ever IMO. I'd go with Live Jazz
Oud smells better on a woman IMO. Red aoud, noir de noir, white aoud are just a few examples of great oud fragrances for women. A woman with a sophisticated oud scent reminds me of a rich chocolate...
This is great layered with love in black. By itself, it's a very classy scent and a big compliment getter
It's not unisex IMO but that's doesn't mean that certain men can't wear it either..
Maybe at first, but after a while you get to know your fellow members. Member x may hate a certain house, so when you hear member x talk about or review a fragrance from that house, you know this...
You have a pretty good collection so far as all your fragrances seem to be age appropriate. I'd go with bleu, BUT one million can work wonders on a date if applied lightly. Let your fragrance invite...
Herod doesn't do it for me especially since I already own and love Tobacco Vanille. I choose Tobacco Vanille
From your list I'd choose Fahrenheit. Can't see why Dior Homme is up there though..
Virgin island water will last until you wash it off... as a skin scent. People from the Dominican would recognize the drydown, a sweet sugar cane/ambergris that lasts 10+. The top notes are gone in...
Clive Christian C smells almost identical to Tuscan Leather. Tuscan Leather is great for the first 5 hrs, after that it gets a little cloying. C has a far superior drydown
Puredistance M. Couldn't stand it at first now I think it's pretty good. Still don't think I'd ever wear it, but I appreciate it as a good scent in its genre.
Pretty much all mark buxton fragrances I've tried smell very synthetic and they're really good
It could have something to do with trying to extract the juice for a split
Cheaper? They're priced pretty similar 275 for Herod and 290 for TV
I just received some new samples from lucky scent:
Amber Oud by Nicolai
Eau de Gloire by Parfum D'Empire
Eight & Bob
Konig by Yosh
Dark Saphir by Agonist
They're all really good, but the...
It's a nice smelling fragrance. And when you wear it, you smell like you actually care about how you smell. It's not the greatest ever but it's way better than what other members are giving it credit...
That explains why you're hooked on niche. It's a good gateway scent
I think they're both middle of the road for their respective genres. Not bad, nothing great either. I used to love royal water, but I never feel comfortable wearing it anymore as it is quite feminine
Aventus. I decided to buy this while recovering from a horrific injury and I was bored in the hospital. Ordered it. Love at first sniff
This is me. I'd never write a review about a fragrance I didn't like. I only review fragrances I own and I don't buy stuff I don't like. I think people go overboard with their critique of a fragrance...
It's gotta be Green Irish Tweed. I feel a signature scent should meet all your criteria in choosing a fragrance. There are scents I like better (santalum, santal imperial) but they're flawed. If...
It's an absolute steal for how much they're charging for it. Very unique stuff
Iso super E. People swear every fragrance is loaded with it, but I still don't know what it smells like. Also benzoin, can't make that out either
For me the top, the immediate top, resembles burnt peanut butter. After about 30-45 mins, the Vetiver starts to come through and for me it's the best part
I have a sample of this and it's an awesome scent especially in the drydown
He's a very talented designer. Too bad his clothes don't fit me
Of the ones I've tried, I'd have to go with Eccelso by Profumum Roma
Giving away great fragrances to family and friends that they may not have purchased on their own. Having someone go through your collection and finding a signature fragrance for themselves or my...
Those who mentioned ADG are spot on. I don't see a niche like Aventus as good as it is, being in that category because designers sell so many more bottles than niche.
They should make these scents in edp strength. Otherwise, I'm not interested
Red Vetiver has a grapefruit opening and its not close to bleu. Terre too if I'm not mistaken. I hate geranium but ill tolerate it if its not dominating. I'm saying this to say, you might own some...
Calvin Klein has the best names
One (meaning unisex)
Tuscan leather is the better scent but Tobacco Vanille is more pleasant as it is more of a crowd pleaser
I'm gonna go with bleu de Chanel because its the only designer I've tried from that time period that I pulled the trigger on
Exactly what I was thinking. I'm not trying to criticize the op, but why such vitriol? You bought a sample that you didn't care for, it's not like you bought the bottle blind. I'm not a fan, but its...
Aquae noblis by Profumum Roma
The price is a little worrisome. It's been discontinued for years, why would someone charge only 200 for 120mil?
This is kinda dumb and its a stall tactic IMO. I've been hearing for over a year that something "new" was coming and nothing. I bought 1849 and never picked it up, that's how lackluster it was. They...
Oh I'm sorry, the scent was Tuscan Leather
I walked by Macy's around Christmas and usually they swarm you with awful fragrances, but when I passed, she smiled and told me I smelled nice. To me that was the ultimate compliment, not only did...
That's a good one but I'm not surprised. Many basenoters dare to be different and want to be challenged. this is very safe what some may consider boring. It's an excellent fragrance though.
From the ones I've smelled, reflection and memoir man
My wife owns this and loves it. I don't think it's a scent that I could wear but some men are gonna wear it. If they can pull it off, hats off to them but this feels feminine
Whenever the public pushes something into prominence, there's a segment of the population that pushes back. That's what causes the hype you speak of.
Go for boss bottled
It's hard cuz they all can be very off putting if not used correctly, but I'd have to go one million. If your cousin doesn't know how to properly apply very strong scents like one million, pls...
I have this also and I get pretty good longevity and appropriate projection. You don't want this to have the projection of tobacco Vanille, it's perfect the way it is IMO.
I hope you're talking about their clothes
+1 for tabarome millesime
Also Italian Cypress
It's all about what you have in your bank account IMO. Not the fragrance itself
A lie has to be proven false before its considered a lie. I wouldn't go as far to say its definitively true either. My problem is, you took the time to find the listed notes, why not find facts to...
Puredistance M. I bought a simple from luckyscent about a year ago and hated it. Now it's one of those fragrances I respect immensely. I still don't know if I'd wear it, but I understand now how it's...
Very tough to only name three.
Love in White
Silver Mountain Water
Osswald NYC. If you don't live in the New York area, you can order it from their website
