    I found Red Aoud to be nauseating but enjoy Aoud Musk. Aoud Lime is good too but I settled on a bottle of Nepal Aoud as I found it the most wearable.

    If I were you (or had my time over), I would ONLY buy decants while you're navigating the hobby. You'd be surprised how much your tastes change after 5 or 10ml of using something. Just my $0.02.

    I've come to realise I quite like scents that can be considered "jammy", whether it be from rose or perhaps berry/fruit. A couple I like are Xerjoff More Than Words and Kerosene Fields of Rubus....

    I think I know what you're referring to. I kinda get a fizzy bugspray type note in certain ouds that actually appeals to me. Try Oud Silk Mood or Ex Idolo Thirty-Three.

    Agree with most of this, except I didn't find it powdery. But I found it sweeter, fruitier, more linear and more feminine that DHI. I do think they have a similar *smell*. Really wasn't a fan.
