    The pads could work nicely. I think you just want to make sure they arent heated in any way. I believe when you heat fragrances like with oil burners this can lead to distortion of the fragrances...

    Lou Lou Perfume by Cacharel for Women is very nice. It's a bit a heavier fragrance, but well worth trying, I used it for many years

    I can confirm this works with Hugo Boss fragraces, I use it with my Aromax Aromatherapy diffuser, its a pretty fantastic idea and to my surprise its very economical too.
