  81. Re: Please Name your Favorite discontinued perfume which you would like to be relaunched !

Totally agree with Cadolle no. 9. What a gorgeous perfume! I have plenty, but it would be lovely if it were still available.

    Re: Pure Parfum application.

I've also heard of folks straining perfume through a coffee filter to get rid of flotsam. Since you have a relatively small amount left, though, it may not be worth it.

Re: How to recognize vintage Dolce Vita?

I have two fairly elderly bottles of Dolce Vita and they both have the printing directly on the bottom of the bottle, as LGD says. Now I'll have to go to Perfumania to check the tester there to see...

    Re: Favorites Aldehydes fragances

Chanel no. 5 in all forms, but the vintage EDC is wonderfully fluffy and aldehydic.

    Re: Pure Parfum application.

ITA that putting a pure perfume in an atomizer will give it some teeth. It seems to result in bigger sillage. I do this with my JPG Classique parfum--it's perfect that way!

Re: What 'Dry' scents have you bought?

(Hi, Adonna! Not stalking you, really!)

I think Le Labo Oud 21 is very dry. But Andy Tauer's Desert Morocain is bone, bone dry.

    Re: Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess

I lived in Azuree Soleil all last summer, and the first thing I did when I saw Bronze Goddess was to snap it up. There's been some subtle tweaking in the formula--they are smell-alikes, to be sure,...

Re: Paltrow wears Youth Dew on Letterman

Agreed that Youth Dew is best in the bath oil. After I'm done in the shower, I slather a bit on and then rinse very quickly and get out, and I follow with the powder. It leaves the whole bathroom...

  97. Re: Choosing a one star (*) - which one to wear?

  98. Re: The local weatherlady, Sandy Thomson: She's one of us!

  100. Re: Recs for something powdery, soft, pref. Italian?

I saw your description--powdery, yet citrus--and immediately thought of Clarins En Ensolleilante. It smells exactly of powdery citrus. It is not, however, Italian, so I hope that's not a dealbreaker...
