    Re: terre de hermes

my girlfriend HATES it, it gave her a bad headache all day and wanted me to throw it out.

I like it though, and in warmer weather it really smells better than when in cooler temperatures.

Re: Acqua di Gio for men

Second the blue label, i've got a bottle myself. I'm actually not very fond of AdG or the Blue label, I find them to be VERY bland and boring.

I am a fan of the MI or GIT though, are they even in...

    Re: Scentiments.com - Good G.I.T.?

My bottle of GIT from scentiments was fine. They sand out the dates on the box and bottle and put a blank sticker over it, though.

    Re: XS vs. Black XS

Black XS smells of nothing but PURE STRAWBERRIES to me. I'd go with the original XS between the two. It does smell very similar to Himalaya.

    from Perfume Emporium:

"Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear.

Because walmart is the ONLY company that doesnt provide health insurance for employees, boohoo. Burger king workers take notice! ...But let's stick to the main topic at hand instead of trying to turn...

    Re: Buying scents at Walmart

Definately. If the frag is there and you want it, go for it. I'm all about Walmart, just take all of those sappy anti-walmart stories with a grain of salt, because most of the time they're pulled out...

Re: RIVE GAUCHE.. Your views please..

I can't stand rive gauche. Its wayyy too powdery for me and it's so unique that it's awkward. A few months ago I was at Disneyland watching the "Blues Brothers" perform and someone behind me had this...
  10. Re: Terre D Hermes, Why so overated? I dont understand it ! (Zero lasting also)

I've only gotten feedback from the girlfriend. Apparently she's not into the top notes because less than an hour after I spray it on and we go to paint the town red, she's got her fingers up her nose...

Re: Do You Love One That Everyone Else Hates?

I'm actually a fan of Hugo frags. I remember way back in high school when my uncle wore the original, I'd steal a few spritz before class. People complain that most of their frags smell too similar,...

    Re: CREED -Authorized Retailers....

The SA at the store at the mall told me they were able to stock creed because they have so many stores, around 35 I believe. That's probably true, but I still don't know why Creed wouldn't list them...

Re: Long lasting, powerful, fresh, smelling cologne?

Are you in California? If so, go to any Westfield shopping center and there's a store called "Perfume Gallery" that carries Creed for $175 a bottle. They have about 5 or more of them that you can try.

Re: Long lasting, powerful, fresh, smelling cologne?

I think The Dreamer would be WAY too flowery/sweet for you. Like what everyone says, it takes a while to mature. Check out Sephora or Nordstrom for a sample first.

    The Creed Green Irish is...

Re: Safe to buy Green Irish Tweed?

Don't know if you purchased a bottle yet, but about a week ago I ordered one off Scentiments.com and it's as genuine as can be. And about $100 shipped 2nd-day to boot.
  22. Re: What cologne would you buy for your son as his first?

Weird, I was thinking the same thing before clicking on the thread.

Basically start him off with any aquatic since they are more "beginner-friendly", then he can develop his own taste.
