    Penhaligon's Racquets Formula is my favourite lavender-infused barbershop scent. Two other great ones are Penhaligon's English Fern and Le Troisiemme Homme de Caron.

    I prefer cheap mediocre ones. What they lack in quality they make up for in £/$/€ saved, giving one a warm fuzzy glow that outlasts the scent itself.

    I'd take Checkcosmetic dates with a pinch of salt. The thin lettering suggests it is the original bottling.
