Re: Is Silver Mountain Water too light?

It's my favorite of the Creeds I've tried but it doesn't last long on my skin, maybe 2-3 hours max. It wears off too fast for a fragrance that expensive.
  2. Re: Need an exhilarating 'getting things done' workday scent that's also great for working out?

Well today I tried Kenneth Cole Reaction on one arm and Chanel Egoiste Platinum on the other. I liked both, but the Egoiste felt sexier and every girl I asked preferred the Egoiste as well. So my...
  3. Re: Need an exhilarating 'getting things done' workday scent that's also great for working out?

Well, I've had a chance to try three of the most recommended fragrances on this thread, some of the more common ones found in stores, so I'm looking forward to trying some of the rarer and niche...

Yes, you're right--it was the blue Pour Homme, not the L'Homme but it was nice. But I actually sprayed on the Versace Man Eau Fraiche because that's what was recommended by 3 people and I loved...

I noticed Versace L'Homme was mentioned six times...it so happens I smelled it yesterday in a store as I was sampling what the store had that has been recommended by Basenoters on other threads and I...
  6. Re: Ladies, men's frag that's: 1) spiritual/uplifting, 2) sensual/masculine, 3) natural/healthy?

Thanks, I checked out her website and sent her an email over the weekend but haven't heard back from her yet, so I hope she gets back to me as it would be nice to support someone local. Do you play...
  7. Re: Need an exhilarating 'getting things done' workday scent that's also great for working out?

Mugler was also recommended to me on my other thread as well as by three people on this one, must try it. Where do you find the best deal on it?

    Thanks,
    Jeff
  8. Re: Need an exhilarating 'getting things done' workday scent that's also great for working out?

    Are you Xeryus? kidding...thanks!
Is 'Eau de Rochas pour homme' the same thing as 'Rochas Man'??
  9. Re: Need an exhilarating 'getting things done' workday scent that's also great for working out?

Thanks. Well, by 'aggressive' I mean invigorating, energizing; something you'd want to put on first thing in the morning to 'attack' a full day's work, not something you'd wear to relax at the end of...
  10. Re: Need an exhilarating 'getting things done' workday scent that's also great for working out?

I've been sampling it, but it doesn't hold up well for me even when not working out; this and the other Creeds I've tried don't last very long, maybe 2 or 3 hours then there's hardly a trace left....
  11. Re: Need an exhilarating 'getting things done' workday scent that's also great for working out?

I will; I'm actually going to sample every fragrance suggested on this and the other thread and I'll post my thoughts on them.

    Ok, thanks. I'll try them.
  13. Re: Need an exhilarating 'getting things done' workday scent that's also great for working out?

That's a great recommendation, I'll try it. That's what I'm looking for, something that might have that psycho-active energizing effect so I'm more productive when working, thanks.
  14. Re: Need an exhilarating 'getting things done' workday scent that's also great for working out?

Hey, if it works it works. Of the five Creeds I've tried so far I like SWM best, but none of the Creeds are very strong or last very long with the exception of Aventus.
