welcome back and enjoy your life!
Amouage before they watered their catalog down (now it's just fare thee well!)
actually Bond & Masque, at the moment!
oh well, Lutens!
they last nothing on me!
go with Great Jones...!
at the moment...Chez Bond!
Halloween Orange and Chimney Red also by Tom Waits
Vegetable Man by Syd Barrett
Hamptons both by Bond 9
Chanel pour Monsieur Concentree
Tuscany by Aramis
Eau Sauvage xtrm
Silver by Amouage
all of them in the glass dumpster, only one bottle of vintage Xerius is kept in my office for aesthetic reasons
own and love them both... spice more on the masculine side, having to chose I could say Jardin right now and in three months the opposite!
have not tried Barista, yet!
got Also Geranium and Musc Ravageur, both great!
own and love Orage and Van Noten
this afternoon I'll get Portrait, maybe!
I'm completely with you on this, the Dior boutique in Rome sold me an unsealed bottle with its pump loaded, I realized it only when I was back home..I adopted a "lasseiz faire" policy, but I...
Purple Haze by Hendrix
Where is the so called luxury in this way of dealing? This goes to show how they cater no scent aficionado out there!
that would be great!!!
if piss smelt like Erolfa I would live inside a WC!!!!
my list is spotty since I don't connect daily
most used were Antaeus and Micalleff Gaiac
you got it right..they don't exist but you wish they did...
wish my semen smelt like that!:lolk:
mine...Haze by Einstuzende Neubauten
Love it, but performs extremely poorly on me so I left it behind!
never go to the track..but 1740 De Sade HdP would be my choice!
Davidoff by Davidoff,imo!
that's the brand I was talking about!
Anubis by Papillon
Cuir Velours by Goodsir
...quality of certain luxury brand garments was changed too, thickness of fabric in a famous brand polo shirt was reduced..
Montana ph blue box, 34 Blvd. St. Germaine, Micalleff Gaiac..al last week they lasted a couple of years!
Roja Dove is doing it!
I get that!
Bois de Portugal or Green Irish Tweed!
generally the whole torso will do the trick!;)
nice collection.. some Amouage pre reform, maybe?
tea for two has good sillage for being an Artisan product.....Russian Tea by Masque simply fantastic!
Gianfranco Ferrè vintage
waiting for Anubis by Papillon
Cuir Velour by Goodsir
De Bachmakov by Different Co.
poor performers were given away! longevity and sillage matter, at least to me!
had my first bottle around 2000 and liked it, but once over it was forgotten, growing up I understood the intricacies of this scent.. awesome feedback from Ladies and coworkers!
only own deco bottles... harsh artemisia opening and a blast of metallic green pines, huge sillage and duration.. smell of distant days!
Aventus is huge among stray dogs here!;)
exactly what i do....;)
I prefer people doused in perfume more than people douse in body odour or are constantly talking in their cell phones..at the gym...that's why I avoid gyms now!
Good one, pre reform
I have tons of back ups stashed!
Givenchy Play intense
the kiss of Death!
never set foot in their shop again!
thanx 4 sharing!
lime, oakmoss and animalic leather, a total beast of a powerhouse! great juice!
Davidoff by Davidoff...gone but not forgotten....like my years!
scarcely happens, but when I do I launch myself in some adventurous layering....
prefer edt sharpness..also edp gets plasticky on me!
maybe add another bottle instead of the samples...they disgraced themselves quite a lot with this move!
all his last outings seem pretty generic and with very artificial accords, but not in a pleasant way...I used to consider Lutens one of my favourite houses with Fumerie Turque / Tuberose Criminelle...
for bottle design and concept, I'm thinking about M/Mink Byredo
the vintage was good, pure 80's vibe!
Lutens has gone downhill, now I'm certain!
even the last formulation is great!
welcome to the machine!!!
Dior Homme P...Spicebomb actually bombs!!!
Bois d'Iris...because I like it!
Oriental Lounge.. same as above!
seriously..Leather Oud, Oud Isphan, NY Oud
one spray..is just what I get from SA's who are on the cheapskate side of the spectrum while sampling from shop testers!
really guess so, once Opium ph was far more "syrupy"
Hednic 4 Prez!:engel017:
thanks, but, no thanks!
the one I get for free!:lolk:
now it's time to Dig It!
most Muglers' smell cheap chic!
Leather Oud, imo!
very interesting answers, thanx everybody!
guess I could explain myself better...
I meant the "Modernist" concept as in art, music, architecture...(do you remember Bauhaus...?)..referred to a particular scent,
Which is, in your opinion, the scent epitomizing the concept of "Modernism" in the world of Perfumery?
agree... give it away, give it to me!:D:D;)
Help! Aventus haters' bandwagon hijacked the thread!:rolleyesold:
New Harlem, Bond9
in torrid heat... a firebomb of sexiness!:coolold:
tired samples and was not impressed, at all... they're all pretty generic and nothing special!
