    Love the simplicity.
  2. Re: Anyone here a smoker? How does it affect your experience with frags?

Totally agree with this. I still haven't completely kicked the addiction; it's a long road to that, but I'm working on it.
  3. Re: Anyone here a smoker? How does it affect your experience with frags?

Am I the only one that finds smoking just masks the smell of the fragrance? I get a LOT more compliments on days when I don't smoke.

    Re: Voyage d’Hermès by Hermès

Looking at the Perfume Shrine article now, they've actually struck out the parts about it not being a mainstream release.

Re: Burberry london everyday at college?

Totally agree with the indie kid statement! But basically I get images of a brown blazer, a little bit of facial hair and a cigarette in hand when I wear this scent. I can't wear it every day here in...
  7. Re: If you could only choose one cologne, what would be your choice?

    I'm going to go with L'Eau D'Issey.

This isn't my favourite scent in my collection; but I think it's one of the most versatile and easy to wear. Such a great all-rounder.

I'm going to have to go with Millesime Imperial here, it's one of my top Summer frags.

    Re: Best Flankers Ever

I'm loving A*Men Pure Malt. It's a lot more wearable and versatile than the original for me. Also enjoy Allure Edition Blanche as well.

EDIT: How could I forget Eau Fraiche!? Definitely up there...
  12. Re: Which fragrance makes you feel like you may offend someone with it?

Re: when do you decide what to wear?

Usually after taking a shower since even if I decided on something the night before I would probably change my mind that morning ;)
  14. Re: What are the most feminine and most masculine scents you wear?

Most feminine would probably be Prada's Amber or Rochas Man I think. Although even then they are not that overtly feminine. As for masculine I would have to say Green Irish Tweed just seems very...

Re: What was your worst blind buy ever?

When I first started my collection I almost exclusively blind bought, and funnily enough I don't hate any of my purchases. I always tried to research it first, even if I hadn't smelt it before. If I...
  16. Re: Look at your beautiful collection. I'll let you keep 3. You have 1 minute. Choose.

At the moment I'm partial to...

    Viktor & Rolf's Antidote
    Thierry Mugler's Pure Malt
    Issey Miyake's L'Eau D'Issey

But this is always changing so this kind of situation would be horrible.

  17. Re: I Found the Best Atomizer! (Department Store Only, Please)

Totally agreed with the complaints on the Issey Miyake atomizer. It's really small for my hands so it can be difficult to control. I'm also not too fond of the Prada Amber deluxe atomizer, since it's...

Re: Creed IS worth the money

I have two bottles of Creed in my collection I think I'm willing to leave it at that for the time being. Don't get me wrong, they are fine and great quality scents, but I just can't rationalize...

Poll: Re: Best fragrance of Versace

I'd be leaning towards Dreamer and Eau Fraiche. I wear the latter a lot more often (Especially with it being Summer now), but Dreamer is really unique and a lot more interesting.

Poll: Re: Average amount of sprays ??

No more than 5 sprays to be honest. I'm really surprised to see people here that spray over 10 and even reapply later on!

    Re: Your 1st Scent

I was a bit of a late starter, to be honest. My first purchase was CK ONE about 3 years ago now, I was actually in Japan at the time and picked it up dirt cheap at a Department Store there.

Far too often. I've bought 4 this month despite telling myself I'd slow down in 2010 ;)

Re: Post a Picture of Your Scents - Edition III

Not a big collection at all, since I only started collecting a few months ago. Not pictured are Blue Jeans, In Motion and B*Men.

Code, London and A*Men are all pretty well hidden at the back, too....

    Re: 2010 Fragrance Resolutions

  27. Re: Buying more frag's for yourself around xmas?

Definitely I splurge at Christmas time on stuff, and this is my first year as a fragrance collector so I did a bit too much spending for my financial state. I've purchased about 4 designer frags and...

If anyone actually went out of their way to ask me about what scent I had, I'd be more than happy to answer truthfully.
  34. Re: How Much Money Is Your Fragrance Collection Worth

Well over $1000AU. Which is a little bit worrying since I just started collecting these less than 3 months ago.

Re: How does everybody Spray their Colognes?

Depending on the scent it usually varies. Heavier stuff I'll hold back on a bit, since I'm pretty worried about over application. Something like Le Male or London I'll do a maximum of 3 sprays....
