    Re: Dior's Privee line

Can I ask where you got it from? The 125ml bottles are £125 at the Dior boutiques.

Re: Tobacco Vanille or Back to Black?

Back To Black is complex and intriguing. Tobacco Vanille an overrated sugar bomb.
  3. Re: Of which fragrances do you own every concentration?

Apres Londee (TDC, EDT, EDP, Extrait)
    Dior Homme (Cologne, EDT, Intense)
    Hanae Mori HM (EDT, EDP)

Re: Dior Homme Intense -WTF ?

Dior Homme is THE true masterpiece my opinion. It was game-changing. Dior Homme Intense, beautiful as it is, would not even exist without its forebear.

Re: L'artisan due to axe half it's frags

I don't get the L'Artisan hate either. Tea For Two was nice but it wasn't exactly the best fragrance from the line.

Samples are free but you can't have more than four.
  9. Re: Help me with learning my notes...L'instant Homme and LIDGE

Anise or indeed star anise is far more aromatic than licorice. So too is fennel.

    I hate licorice.

    Re: Terre d'Hermes...

Learning about Iso E Super ruined this fragrance for me.
  11. Re: Help me with learning my notes...L'instant Homme and LIDGE

For me, they are BOTH Anise BOMBS. I realise they are more complicated than that but I group them in with Lolita Lempicka and Serge Luten's Douce Amere as aniseed dominated fragrances.

Re: Bond No.9 divorced from Andy Warhol?

I don't think I could ever admit to wearing a Bond No.9 fragrance (Creed either, for that matter). I'd rather say I was wearing Joop Homme and that's saying something!
  13. Re: Just ordered Kenzo Power..what does it smell like?

There is something distinctly futuristic about this fragrance. I love it but seldom wear it.

Re: Une Fleur de Cassie vs Farnesiana

    Really?

I certainly find similarities due to the inherent alikeness of the mimosa and cassie accords.

Farnesiana is softened with additional vanillic and heliotropin notes.

Re: Une Fleur de Cassie vs Farnesiana

I realise that Farnesiana has been reformulated but in my opinion it is one of the few Carons which hasn't suffered as a result.

  19. Missing lids/caps? Is there somewhere to look?

  24. Re: L'Antichambre - Belgian Fragrances, Anyone?

Is Luckscent the only option for mail order from this line? I live in London and it seems ridiculous to have to order from the States when the product is European.
