Re: Buy it for the Drydown?

j de j rouge: this fragrance seems to have poor longevity when i wear it, though i enjoy the fleeting top notes. perhaps i just become anosmic to it after 20 minutes. i'll have to try this perfume...

wore this to class once. kid sitting in front of me commented that it smelled like man. similar comment from some chick later that day.

  8. Re: How many colognes do you have? And do you rotate between scents?

    Re: RIP Montale?

hednic's experience notwithstanding, this diluting of fragrance that i keep reading about is the only thing holding me back from buying at least several montale perfumes.

  14. Re: knize ten - just blind bought, mistake or not?

Knize Ten is great. I enjoy the opening. For reference, I didn't like Chanel Cuir de Russie (a bit too feminine for me) nor Parfumerie Generale's Cuir d'Iris (way too feminine for me, and yes it...

  16. Re: Scents similar to Green Irish Tweed? (NOT COOLWATER)

I agree with you that a large part of having a fragrance hobby is wearing what you enjoy, but I also get satisfaction when others appreciate what I'm wearing. I don't feel right when other people...

Re: Hanae Mori EDT or EDP?

The EDP lasts and it lasts and it lasts. Great clubbing scent. I tried the EDT a long time ago. From what I remember the EDP seems to be denser and heavier with the basenotes.
