Re: Why do we do it?

I spend hundreds--or less--a year, not per month. This year I bought 3 bottles, which is a record for me, and if I add that + sample purchases, 2014 averages to about $35 per month.

    For me,...

Re: SOTD Monday 15th December 2014

    Teardrop, I love Sahara Noir.

I'm wearing Tubéreuse Criminelle. It's kind of my signature although I'm stretching the meaning of "signature".

My baking (since people talk about work and...

I don't understand what this syncing business is?
But I did happen to put on a Sheldrake perfume today--Tubéreuse Criminelle.

Re: Do you use perfume every day?

Almost every single day. If I don't spray it in the morning, I usually will later in the day.

Before a year ago, I mostly only wore perfume a few times per month like the OP. I liked perfume but...

Sticky: Re: How much do you earn?

If you really think sharing annual earnings (I'm usually a bit irrationally mistrustful, but sharing how much money you make with strangers seems unwise to me?) gives an idea of whether or not we...

Re: SOTD Tuesday 9th December 2014

Today I'm wearing Comme des Garcons. The weather here is cold, grey, and wet and I am about to walk a mile to get Jamaican food, so hopefully CdG keeps me warm.
And then my mom's Christmas present...

Re: Women under 35 and classic perfumes

You ask who *does* wear classics, so I suppose I'm not answering your question, but I'm 25 and I do not. Some of my favorites are considered contemporary classics but I don't own anything that was...

Re: Scents on a plane: What do you wear?

I usually feel gross during flights so I chose something like Eau des Merveilles. I've never been bothered by another person's perfume, but any kind of heavy scent is unappealing for me to wear. I...

Re: Most worn in November 2014

My most worn was Tubereuse Criminelle.
I didn't post my SOTD everyday, but my most worn according to basnotes are: Tubereuse Criminelle (it says 9 wears, but I estimate 15 wears), Comme des Garcons...
  12. Re: Sony's new digital camera is shaped like a perfume bottle

I think this definitely seems like something for the Asian market.

I've seen a few perfume bottle iPhone cases recently. It seems Chanel officially released them, but I think it's safe to say the...

    Re: please help

Is there a reason why you specifically ask for Jo Malone?
There are a lot of floral orientals/dark and musky fragrances for the same price range, so if you give a bit more information about what you...

  16. Re: What smells like Axe’s Black Chill? Yes, I am serious.

Bleu de Chanel has those notes, and mint as originally mentioned. Is it possible Black Chill is supposed to be a copy of Bleu?
My first thought was that Lush...

    Re: November Purchases 2014

I just ordered Fille en Aiguilles, which I will receive for my birthday this month. I included my sample requests on my birthday list and it confused my dad too much so asked me to order it.

Poll: Re: How Do You Buy Your Fragrances ?

I buy most of my perfume in retail stores (so far: Nordstrom, Aedes des Venustas and Galeries Lafayette Berlin). I have used ebay twice, for a discontinued fragrance and to get an earlier formulation.
  27. Re: Stereotypical "Feminine" Bottles, Packaging: Irritating? Offensive? Humiliating?
