  1. Re: Why all the allure homme sport eau extreme hate?

    YES, This!

Marketing does very little for me. I don't buy frags because of the name or popularity or design of the bottle or the celebrity who's face is on...
  2. Re: How do you display/store your fragrances? And what about those samples?

I used a 16" 2x4, sanded it down and drilled holes with a 15/32" bit on a drill press. That fits the most common sample bottles used by Sephora, Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus. It gave me 64 holes (4...

    Re: Fragrance layers clashing?

All very good input. I'll look into the brands suggested here.

Typically I use a fresh scented bodywash (yes, it usually fades quickly) and a fresh scented deodorant... If i use a fresh...

  7. Re: What's your favorite frag that you'll never own

    for now it's Givenchy Pi.

I really enjoy it, find it intriguing and complex at times... but overall it's just too sweet for me. The bottle is also a work of art; but, I know I'll never finish the...

    Fragrance layers clashing?

If I had one specific signature scent that I used all the time, then I'd probably get the gift set to make sure I match with the same scented body wash, aftershave and deodorant.

    That's not the...

    Re: Which of the 3?

I say go with Bleu de Chanel. It's a great fragrance and is subtle enough for class. You'd probably also stick out a bit more as it's a bit more classy than the other two, IMO.

Re: The LIGHTER side of SPICE?

This brings up another question: How often do you refresh, especially if it lasts on you without projection (I can't assume you refresh every hour to keep the projection up)?

    Re: Bottle persuasion

    Here's my opinion:
I know that the bottle is just marketing... I ignore the bottle when sampling fragrances. The same goes for the name of the cologne, the model/celebrity advertising it and...
  18. Re: Is my nose evolving or am I just getting more in tune with what I want??

My nose spends so much time shoved into bottles of fragrances that it might as well not look like a nose anymore! haha

    The LIGHTER side of SPICE?

    Re: Spicebomb Reversal

Fair point. Is this generally perceived as a youthful, perhaps "high school/college" frag than a 30+ business professional's frag?
