    The sandalwood and musk give a nice balance to florals in Walimah. It's very different to Bortnikoff's style which utilises more of the lighter floral elements.

    They both sound appealing. It seems like ambergris is the main player in both of them.

    I can't stand cinnamon in fragrances but it seems like it only lasts for a short while in the opening.

    I was thinking the same thing when Russian Adam mentioned it in his video. He said that the orris root in W&P2 was a bit more resinous and less powdery. I don't find War and Peace very powdery anyway.

    There is no difference in smell. The colour molecules have been removed for the Crystal editions so it does not stain clothing.

    I don't find it as having sickly-sweet food notes. I think it was actually marketed as a woman's fragrance upon first release but it is perfectly suitable for a man, IMO.

    In my opinion it isn't but I'm not a fan of the AdP DNA. MFK do very good oud fragrances too, their Oud Extrait is a very good take on the woody, smokey aspects of natural oud.
