    Galbanum is a sharper note and can cut through powdery base notes, many of the citrus family and herbals can too. Try balancing the top and middle with your powdery bases until there is an equality.

    This earthy area is a really difficult one to obtain authenticity and/or balance on. The chemicals available are incredibly dominant (IMO only).
