    My guess is the bottle was probably stored incorrectly in a warehouse somewhere, as it was a tester bottle it did not have it's own box which was probably a big factor.

    I may be wrong but as far as I know the juice in the gold cap bottles are the same as this bottle. The only difference is that this one is a splash and the one you have is a spray.
