    It is interesting comparing Sharif's Royal Thai with Agarharvest's Thai AAAA. The latter has a more pungent opening with a strong diffused cardboardy, plasticinic smell which soon loses its punch....

    The exclusive and the sweet are quite mutually exclusive...The latter is as you describe it and the former akin to a loatian fecal. I don't have the sweet chinese on me so can't possibly recreate...

    Liberty Naturals has two total / supercritical CO2 agarwood oils...One of them from wild crafted wood which is about 8 times the price of the other which is from cultivated wood.

    You're right, comparing distilled oud to CO2 is not right. My impressions were based on the eden botanicals CO2 which as u say Abdul is a different beast...It's like one of those valerian or tube...

    If you're going to try it get it in a spray vial or bottle...The oud in the pure version is spicy, metallic, leathery, quite heavy and what would be considered a modern oudh...zingy. The oil itself...

    No it wasn't a typo :) The mukhallat has some sweetness to it and other stuff going on..For the Oudh version which is just raw oudh, I guess you could replace the word leathery with oudy :) For me...
