There are alot of cheap frags that smell soapy but they really aren't good enough for me to want to mention.
As noted above Bond No. 9 Silver Factory has a great Incense base that im in love with.
Price range and availability are the main factor in my next frag purchase.
I really enjoy wearing all of the fragrances I own in a normal rotation in current with the season and events.
Mugler Cologne for spring/summer
Pure Coffee for fall
AMen for winter. I think im going to do that next year.
I love the lime in creed's Virgin Island Water.
I think its a nice scent, but definitely not the best from YSL, if it lasted longer it would really be worth a permanent wardrobe spot for me but less than an hour of smell on me isnt worth a rebuy.
Definitely not an improvement on Gucci PH 2.
Another bland safe scent that no one will remember in a year.
Someone at my work threw my big bottle of Fahrenheit across the room and it busted on the floor. It smelled like that and made the mop smell like it indefinitely.
The biggest problem I have with ADG is the people that bathe in it.
Kenneth Cole Reaction is what I reach for if I really want that type of scent, but Im really a fan of gourmand/ sweet orientals...
About 3 or 4 of the SA's at the best local frag place around me know my face.
I always feel awkward in there though cause I want to try Kouros every time and they all think it smells bad.
It's ALL in the drydown.
M7 has some of my least favorite top notes of any frag that ive smelled, but the basenotes are worth it.
It really makes me wanna just go buy a bottle of Kouros to see...
First one I tried was Jovan Musk (ICK)
First gift was Tommy Hilfiger
First one I bought myself was Kenneth Cole Black (in middle school)
Oh I dont keep them like that.
That was just the runway spread of my scents. They stay in the cupboard and the lucky one of the day goes in the fridge.
I always see Kouros being discussed. I go out to sample it and everytime I always get weird looks from the attendant after she sprays it on the card. I might get brave next time and just give my...
Im in the same boat. I went around and tried pretty much all the summer scents I could find and all of them kinda just were blah.
I did sort of like YSL L'Homme but i'll probably have to test...
I havent had the time or resources to delve into nicheness so excuse the designer heavy list.
YSL - M7
YSL - Opium
YSL - Body Kouros
Dior - Fahrenheit
Creed - Silver Mountain Water
Picked it up today. Wearing it to a job interview as a matter of fact (also today). Anyone else tried it?
Here is a pic, its in the middle of course....
I currently live in a pretty mild climate, and outside of the summer months it remains pretty cool around 60's 50's.
However next week im going to be moving to arizona and the temperatures there...
Only scent that Ive ever gotten a compliment on was Good Life by Davidoff, (by a gas station cashier at that!)
M7- Yves Saint Laurent
I had to wear it today after discovering that the scent had it's own website.
