  1. Re: *Campaign to Bring Back Patou Pour Homme and Pour Homme Prive*

Apparently it is coming back. Read here on BN somewhere they're really re-releasing it.

Re: What was the first fragrance that you bought?

Old Spice, but my first "real" cologne I bought was Drakkar Noir. I already had about 5 or 6 colognes but they were all given to me.

Re: Your most expensive blind buy

Hmm... I bought several fragrances at once, all blind. Total around $170.

    L'eau D'Issey Pour Homme
    Azzaro Pour Homme
    Paco Rabanne Pour Homme
    Rive Gauche Pour Homme

    Love all of them.

Re: Very disappointed with RL Polo Original

The pine notes are almost non-existent to me ... I remember it having a Pine-Sol leathery feel to it, not anymore. Smells like a campfire with cigarette smoke in the background.

Re: Very disappointed with RL Polo Original

I agree, what gives? If it's discounted, it's maybe $10 off the department store retail price. Not much of a discount.

Re: Very disappointed with RL Polo Original

I like the smell of burning wood. I love sitting around campfires or bonfires at the beach and having that scent in your face. But this isn't something I could wear all day, I don't think. Shame.

Very disappointed with RL Polo Original

Just "blind" bought a 4 oz. bottle of Polo Green (I say "blind" because I haven't tried this new formulation; I've been around and smelled the old formulation a lot) and I must say... it's pretty...

Re: Need some advice for a classy scent

I didn't like Egoiste at all but I can see it as a classy fragrance. Givenchy Gentleman wasn't too memorable for me (the notes), but I remember liking it. I'd say if you're going for a fragrance that...

Re: Drakkar Noir - Blind buy ?

There are no strong fragrances. Only weak men who can't handle wearing them. Blind buy it.
  16. Re: Where to find Egoiste (not platimum) in the USA?

Nordstrom at the Stonestown Galleria in SF has it, was just there 3 days ago and they had it.

PS: I remember it being $80, I think it was a 3.4oz bottle.
