Re: I Wish We Talked Less About Creed

If everyone ends up owning Creed, then it is no longer a niche house, but rather expensive mainstream. I've smelled various Creed stuff out in the wild but I try and wear something that is either...
  89. Re: Is this the oldest Creed bottle you've ever seen ?

Agreed, who would even bother to pull something so obscure and disassociated with the fragrance out to try and market a it unless it were true.

Like saying Ronald Regan wore GIT. OK, big important...

Re: What's the best fresh scent ever made ?

The original unisex Eau De FCUK, because it doesn't smell quite like all the other "fresh" scents.

    Jess Bell Colorado Sage

Anyone else ever try this one? I can't decide whether I like it or not. I wore it maybe two or three times in the past year, one of which was to work yesterday. To me a weird mix of green crisp notes...

    Re: Avon Oland, weird stuff

I wore some today. I think Opoponax is more what would smell like an ashtray but this is not that. Jasmine doesn't smell that way to me either (dirty), though it may have jasmine in it, I can't pick...

Re: Dislike the Opening, Love the Drydown!

FCUK Him. Smells like pure bugspray or something when you first apply it. Literally. The drydown is actually fairly pleasant. I wouldn't say I love it but one of the most drastic changes from...

Re: Liz Taylor's Passion for Men. Can you help?

I don't really think its "sweet" but that depends on what you consider sweet. I consider something like Stetson Black to smell sweet. Sweet is something I consider it to be when it is overbearingly...

Re: Liz Taylor's Passion for Men. Can you help?

To me PS is a lighter scent. It also is more spicy, and less smooth, not as well balanced. Passions to me is very smooth, but you can't expect top dollar ingredients, if you over apply you'll know...

Re: Liz Taylor's Passion for Men. Can you help?

I would consider it an oriental. To me it isnt sneeze inducing, it is a tad on the heavier side. I think it has just enough green to balance it from being too heavy. I think it has a nice drydown...

Re: Liz Taylor's Passion for Men. Can you help?

It depends on skin chemistry but this one lasts quite a while on me easily at least 8 hours, plus its cheap enough to spray a good amount on if it doesn't last that long on you.

    As far as your...

Re: I saw a $1 Angel Men knockoff today!

That Akthar Noir stuff is amazingly good.

I once had some "Adventure" knockoff of Safari for Men that was a darn near clone of the original thing. Burned throuugh the giant bottle in too short a...

Re: Liz Taylor's Passion for Men. Can you help?

As I said in another thread about this, I think I found a good comparison. It is like a smoother version of Opium pour homme with more spice and woods to prevent it from becoming an overly sweet...

Re: Spotted at Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Ross, etc. Vol. 3

Just a heads up, but I've stopped at a few Walgreens looking around, quite a few have Red For Men 1.7 oz bottles marked down to $4.99 at least around here.
