I just think the harder it is to get the less people are going to talk about it.
70 is my guess
La Nuit for me
You sound a lot like me when I first started this hobby. I had exactly 3 bottles to my collection, AdG, Curve, and Hilfiger Athletics. One thing I learned early on here is that there are tons of...
You kidding? Usually by 18 you have a job but you still live at home so your bills are minimal. That's the perfect time to buy $100 worth of cologne :)
Another yes vote
No specific order
YSL La Nuit
Bleu de Chanel
Assuming 1.7 oz bottles, ones that I've tried that I would recommend include
Azzaro pour Homme. I think if you enjoyed Rive Gauche you'll also enjoy this.
I was told I smelled magical like a unicorn when I was wearing Gievenchy Very Irresistible
Women of all ages love AdG, and Curve so you can't really go wrong there. A couple other fresh scents that women seem to universally love is Abercrombie & Fitch Fierce, and Chanel's Bleu de Chanel....
I enjoy Cuba Gold as a VERY cheap Le Male substitute. Unbound just wasn't unique enough from my other stuff to justify a spot in my rotation. Haven't tried the other ones you listed As for your...
Personally I'd say just Aventus for me strictly because there's nothing else like it on the market. I wouldn't say Green Irish Tweed just because to the untrained nose (and I include myself in that...
The worst one I ever smelled was Bijan Wicked. Described to me as Chrome with pineapple notes, It didn't smell like either to me and I despised it. Thanks god it was a cheapie.
Just do a google search for it. Lots of places still selling it
Aventus all the way. Last time I visited my girlfriends family I was wearing Aventus and her mother, sister, and my girlfriend herself all commented on how good I smelled. It's one of the g/f's...
x2. OP If you want to expand your selection a little, if you have a Sephora near you go in there and ask them to make up a couple samples of your favorites so you can try them out on your skin for a...
Prices include shipping, U.S. only. I accept paypal. Any questions, please PM me so I don't get yelled at again for "bumping" my thread by responding to your question. Also, if you don't hear back...
125 views and no hello? Tough crowd! WELCOME!!
Is your part of Nigeria a hot humid place? Personally I can't imagine A*Men going over well if that's the case. I know people with disagree with me but A*Men is so thick and heavy, the thought of...
Looks like you've been busy submitting new fragrances for approval. Thank you very much for your hard work!
Which blind buys didn't work for you and why didn't you like them? If you tell us what you didn't like it will help with recommendations.
I'll trade you a bottle of Malt or Havane for Coffee if you are interested. Coffee is my favorite and I have extras of Havane and Malt. Wishful thinking on my part :)
None, I'll be working
Bump to add to directory
I did make an exception for this one since I knew if I didn't like it I could sell it for near what I paid for it, if not more, which is exactly what happened.
No fragrance that costs $125+ is a safe blind buy IMO. Find a sample or decant first!
No kidding. Too much seriousness in here!!
I started off buying 3.4 oz, but once I got more than 10 bottles I realized that I was gonna have a lifetime supply in no time, so I started picking up 1.7 oz bottles.
That sucks for all who didn't get their order put in in time. Lucky me, I snagged 2 bottles early on.
I was thinking about tree fiddy
Both of your answers are there. All you had to do was look
Picked up 2 bottles
Might have to go that route if I can't find anything else. I don't wanna wait a month :)
Sorry to bump an old thread but I'm having a hard time finding this one. Anyone know where you can order it from in the US beside the $150+ bottles on Ebay?
I sold mine. I wasn't impressed at all and sold my bottle with roughly 90ml left for $85. I wasn't trying to get too greedy :)
Ungaro III which I wore the day of the funeral for Firefighter Scott Davis who perished in the line of duty
Kenzo pour Homme
Tom Ford's Noir de Noir
Or you could do that and get the answer that you so badly want????
In no particular order
Michael Jordan Legend (cheap and from what I hear smells like Rochas Man)
Lolita Lempicka au Masculin
Tom Ford's Italian Cypress
Tom Ford's Tuscan Leather
Some people prefer to wear certain scents during certain seasons while others wear whatever they feel like regardless of the weather. For instance, an aquatic such as cool water would work good in...
:embarassed: I've been checking multiple times a day and still missed it!!
L'Instant de Guerlain Pour Homme Extreme
Wish I could find a full bottle at retail price before my decant runs out! :(
From what I understand, everyone and their brother in Europe wears 1 Million. I'd steer clear just to avoid smelling like everyone else in the club
Fierce is definitely a lady pleaser. My girlfriend loves it above all my other scents. More than Tobacco Vanille, Chergui, Le Male, Aventus, Green Irish Tweed, Pure Malt, and any other fragrance...
Voleur de Roses
From a sample that I received from L'Artisan
Many of the Creed fragrances seem to be constructed more on the "safe" side.
First time trying this one. Reminds me of Azzaro pour Homme during the dry down.
Would much rather see this re-released over Pure Malt
Lots of places that sell small decants. Better to drop $10-$20 decide if you like it, and then purchase in September if you do.
Guerlain Vetiver for a hot muggy day
*looks at avatar* Awwww :(
Sean John Unforgivable for me today!
Maybe try Dsquared2's Ocean Wet Wood. It combines Aquatic, Floral and woody notes. One of the creators is also the man behind the creation of Acqua di Gio. I blind bought it, and think it smells...
Just because it's cheap doesn't mean it can't be good! I still remember a thread where a BN'er said "Michael Jordan scents shouldn't even be discussed among adults. A discussion on an adolescent...
Curve and Hilfiger Athletics for me
I've heard Tuscan Leather and Tobacco Vanille layer well. Haven't tried it yet though.
Most people here don't like it but the girlfriend absolutely goes nuts for it
Personally I'm a fan of Guerlain homme.
Personally I found that the women in my life have a sweet tooth and respond well to fragrances such as L'Instant de Guerlain pour homme extreme, Angel men (and it's flankers), Body Kouros, Tobacco...
This. Fragrancenet is a reputable seller, and there have been many other threads that addressed the Creed packaging.
1. Pure Coffee
3. Pure Havane
4. Pure Malt
So much love for Pure Malt but it was way too boozy for me. Had to sell it.
Same here. Was a little too boozy for me so I sold it to a fellow BN'er for $85!
 That's nuts. *Runs to hide my bottle of Pure Havane until 2013*
UPDATE to your UPDATE: Lord & Taylor also had some, and I ordered 2 bottles Friday. As of this morning they are out of stock along with Nieman Marcus. The only retailer online that I can find that...
I'll second this
I hate you for bumping this!
Off 10ml decant, but I can't even smell it! :(
I know what you mean. My girlfriend absolutely loves Abercrombie & Fitch's Fierce. I find it decent, but definitely not one I would miss if I couldn't wear it. She enjoys most of my fragrances but...
Creed Virgin Island Water
Body Kouros - Love the anise note
Burberry London - Different than anything else in my collection, just wish the longevity was better
Guerlain Homme - Obtained in a swap for L'Eau...
Reason for purchase: To smell good for the girls at the new teen dance club
Another vote for Guerlain Homme. You said you wanted something fresh which IMO eliminates Rochas Man and Lolita Lempicka, as they are more gourmands. Leau D Issey is a more common scent, so that...
