    Re: Best Lavendar Scents

I'm a big fan of lavenders, sadly pure lavender does not last more than 15 minutes or so. There are plenty of lavender waters, i.e., Trumper's, Taylors, Caldey, etc., none last very long as they are...

    Re: Long Lasting Lime?

I was on a lime bender this Summer, I tried a lot of them. Long lasting lime is an oxymoron, it just does not exist, plus a lot of "lime' fragrances don't really smell much like lime, Crabtree &...

Re: The Official Creed Green Irish Tweed thread!

I got the same 20% off Walgreens deal before Christmas, it was too good to pass up, I noticed the regular price went up to $190 a few weeks ago, but is back down to $130, not sure what is going on...

Re: Does Gris Clair smell weird on anyone else?

I hated GC when I first got a sample of it, it was so different from any other lavender fragrances. It's very smokey and has a good bit of iris, it was just so different. I did grow to love it...

    Re: Creed Purchase!

I can't imagine blind buying a Creed, that's too much money to waste on something you may hate. I have several Creeds, they are all the "older" ones, I mostly hate the new stuff. Just because it's...

Re: does terre de hermes have too much rose in it?

Good Lord, no rose, TDH is the driest least floral fragrance I can think of, cedar, cedar, more cedar and some flint. Keep her away from DC 1913.

  92. Re: MARRY, DATE or DUMP, Male Fragrance Edition: Round 1

Marry: GIT, reminds me of someone I slept with once, but has more class, and is probably younger than he says.
Date: Terre D'Hermes, pleasant enough, but a little dull in bed, isn't really going...
  93. Re: Am I the only person on earth that doesn't like L'Instant de Guerlain Extreme?

Bought this blind as well due to the reviews, just don't get it. The "green" nature mixed with cocoa just does not work for me, they seem to be at odds. I find it very weak as well, doesn't last...

    Re: Other Walgreens GIT Customers

Glad someone else got this newer batch as well. I think the scent is great, it does seem to last as long as some of my other Creeds, just not close in longevity to BDP or anything. I've been pretty...
  95. Re: Cool water = wet wipe. What about Green Irish Tweed?

I have them both, they are very similar in overall effect. GIT is perhaps greener, and is made of better materials. CW is much more synthetic, and can be cloying, but your average person on the...

Re: Trustworthy websites to buy from?

I have never had any problems with fragrancex, fragrancenet, beautyencounter, of parfum1. Most have return policies as well, which always helps.

Re: Creed GIT: Need help determining if fake

I don't recall hearing of serial numbers on any of the fakes extensively documented on many threads here.

Beautyencounter is certainly reputable, I have never had any problem with any of my purchases from them. Some of their stock is older stuff, so in this case that may be a good thing, I would imagine...

    Re: Third Man reformulations?

The new bottle has been around for a good while, so if it's been reformulated it may not be easy to differentiate, and it must have happened quite recently. I was thinking about picking a bottle up,...

    Re: Other Walgreens GIT Customers

I decided to pick up a bottle of GIT a couple weeks ago from Walgreens, for $107, with the 20% off, it was a steal, I have noticed the price has now gone way up. Anyway, it came from Fragrancenet...
