Re: Classic scents like Chanel No. 5

Arpege and Liu are both very good suggestions. Vintage Arpege doesn't seem expensive or hard to find.
  2. Re: Need some violet/violet leaf recommendations

It's not cheap, but Guerlain's Arsene Lupin Dandy is worth sniffing out, as is the old (vintage) Après L'Ondée for its transparent anise/violet opening.

  5. Re: Mitsouko: She IS different with each wearing...

It's very good - as is the newest version of EdT. Rich and mossy, not quite as radiant and golden as vintage, but probably as close as we're going to get these days. And there's nothing odd about it...

  7. Re: Guerlain L'Homme Ideal...pathetic generic trash.

  9. Re: Guerlain L'Homme Ideal...pathetic generic trash.

  10. Re: Parfumerie Generale samples, but which ones?

  11. Re: Whats the quickest amount of time you returned/sold a fragrance after receiving it and what was

In the US can you really return a fragrance just because you don't like it? I don't think you'd get away with that in the UK or elsewhere in Europe.
